SAN FRANCISCO -- Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, and Bryan Kemper, director Stand True, the organization’s youth outreach, are in San Francisco for the Walk for Life West Coast and a weekend of activism.

On Saturday at 8 a.m., Father Pavone will lead the opening prayer at a rally outside Planned Parenthood on 1650 Valencia St. Mr. Kemper also will speak at the rally, along with members of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign.

Prior to the walk, Father Pavone will lead the Silent No More rally in the Civic Center Square with Georgette Forney, co-founder of Silent No More and president of Anglicans for Life. Women and men from the campaign will give their testimony from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. PT.

Father Stephen Imbarrato, priest associate with Priests for Life and a member of the Silent No More campaign, also will take part in the Walk and the other pro-life events.

“While tens of thousands of people walk for life today on the West Coast, our prayers will be with lawmakers in Washington who have a chance to save lives,” Father Pavone said. “The Senate is set to consider the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which would protect most babies from abortion once they have reached the halfway point of their mothers’ pregnancy. This bill would save thousands of lives and remove the United States from the list of just seven nations that allow abortion throughout pregnancy. I will pray for the passage of this bill with every step I take.”
