Let The Truth Be Told

Thursday, September 30th, 2010

As the daughter of Rev. A. D. King and Naomi King, granddaughter of Martin Luther King, Sr. and Alberta King, and the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., I come from a long line of Christian soldiers who have supported marriage and family. As I offer this testimony, please let me encourage you to continue to stand firm for marriage and family!

We know that people of virtually every faith and culture agree that marriage is a union between a man and woman. This is why marriage has a unique place in civilization and is deeply woven into the fabric of society. Even in the face of current attacks on marriage, such as divorce and moral disregard for the sanctity of procreation, marriage between a man and a woman remains the guard against human extinction.

As one who understands, first hand, the losses that society incurs when marriage is weakened, I urge you today to encourage your family, friends and communities to uphold and protect the sacrament of marriage.

God, who created us, and placed us in the wombs of our mothers, uniting the seed of our fathers and the fruit of our mothers, imprinted us with His dream for marriage. We cannot let a few misguided judges and politicians erase the truth and beauty of the lasting institution of marriage and family.

God is aware of the pain and suffering of abortion, divorce and sexual immorality and how they all hurt people as is evidence in the three articles below. Sin is the root of all of abortions, divorces and sexual immoralities. All destroy the procreative bond of holy matrimony between a man and a woman. Additionally, abortion destroys the procreative reproductive health of a woman. A woman should do everything in their power to be healthy and fit for when she may want to have a child. Abortion does harm to a woman’s body. There is a link between abortion and many health issues. Chemical and other invasive birth control methods also have been linked to breast and cervical cancer, stroke, heart attack, mood swings, and other medical problems.

So let us be encouraged to stand firm for life, family and chastity.

Abortion And The Ten Commandments

Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

Abortion is so evil that it violates every single commandment given to us by God. It degrades everything that it touches.

Abortion’s spiritual power is its perfect violation of all the commandments. First of all, most abortions are a result of sins against the sixth and ninth commandment which are adultery, fornication and lust. It’s certainly a sin against the fifth commandment prohibiting murder. Likewise, it violates the third commandment because the vast majority of babies are killed on abortion’s heaviest business days which is Saturday, or Sabbath. Abortion is also a reversal of the fourth commandment where father and mother dishonor the child in the most heinous way and in doing so curses the Holiness of God, which is the second commandment, which is manifested in the only creature made in his image and likeness. As a false religion, abortion is a violation of the first commandment forbidding the worship of any other gods but the Lord. And this religion is fed through a highly sophisticated system of falsehoods and deceits, the eighth commandment, which leads women into the abortion chambers. Furthermore, abortion literally steals, the seventh commandment, both our personal and national futures by depriving us of children. Anyone concerned about the present immigration issue should remember that presence of more than 40 million Hispanic immigrants in this country tracts exactly the destruction of 47 million or our own children by abortion since the Roe v. Wade death decision. The saying, “nature abhors a vacuum” is as true in demographics as it is in physics. Finally, the tenth commandment, coveting our neighbor’s goods, is about the capital sin of greed, the very thing that drives so many of the abortionists to do the killing work. Abortionists often claim to hate abortion but love the money behind it. Abortion is like a huge spiritual vortex of sin pulling people into it and even the church can be compromised by this evil, too. Most of the sins listed above are sins of co-mission but the church’s sins are usually sins of omission which abortion inspires. For example the terrible silence of the clergy on this topic…

I’m sure the devil just laughs and pats himself on the back when he sees the church, that has the spiritual power to undo all his works and all his empty promises sitting back and pretending that abortion is a non-issue. All of this is to point out that abortion is a spiritual power that negates God’s plan for love, life, and the family. It not only does it destroy bodies, but destroys souls, which from the point of view of eternity, represents the devil’s greatest masterpiece of evil.

Fr. Thomas Euteneuer

The Ten Commandments

I: ‘You shall have no other gods before Me.’ ‘You shall not make for yourself a carved image–any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.’

II: ‘You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.’

III: ‘Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.’

IV: ‘Honor your father and your mother.’

V: ‘You shall not murder.’

VI: ‘You shall not commit adultery.’

VII: ‘You shall not steal.’

VIII: ‘You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.’

IX: ‘You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.”

X: ‘You shall not covet your neighbor’s house nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.’

The Demonic Abortion Industry

Tuesday, September 28th, 2010

Fr. Thomas Euteneuer explains how the abortion industry is demonic in nature by looking at abortion from a spiritual perspective. He asks everyone to pray as you read this article.

(An excerpt from his pamphlet, Demonic Abortion, originally a chapter in Exorcism and the Church Militant.)

Question, “In what sense is abortion demonic?” The spiritual dimension of this grizzly business is its systematizing of ritual blood sacrifice to the god of child murder, Molech, who we know of from the severe condemnations of him in the Old Testament for example, the book of Leviticus, chapter 18, 1 Book of Kings, second book of Kings…

…It [abortion] is in every way a demonic religion. It has its sacred dogma, choice. Its ruling hierarchy, Planned Parenthood. Its theologian, feminist ideologues. Its sacrificing priesthood, abortionists. Its temples, abortion mills. Alters, surgical tables. Ritual victims, primarily the babies and secondarily the women. Its acolytes and sacristans, clinic workers and deathscorts. Its congregations, all who support abortion. And its own unifying principle of “sacramental grace,” which is money. In short the abortion industry is a perfect demonic system which offers a perverse form of worship to the Devil. …

More Doublespeak from Abortion Supporters

Friday, September 24th, 2010

From Springfield, IL today, on a tour to promote life…

The director of the local Planned Parenthood got front page coverage in the editorial section of the local paper, blasting Alveda King for spreading false information about the agenda of Planned Parenthood. Of course, they didn’t ever site any of the facts that I state whenever I deliver the talks. No mention of the abortion agenda of PPH or the eugenics agenda of PPH Founder Margaret Sanger. In recent news stories, this trend continues. Colorado abortion supporters said that denying abortion to rape and incest victims is denying that the crimes of rape and incest occurred. In all actuality, the opposite is true, aborting the babies of rape and incest victims allows the rapists and incestors to go free to commit further crimes because the babies are victims of the same crime, and their living DNA and their very live births give glaring evidence that the mothers were victimized. In another situation, abortion supporters in Mexico are saying that women are afraid to seek medical help for pregnancy complications because they might be accused or charged with abortion. Making the evil act of abortion legal is not the answer. That’s like saying that in order for a gunshot victim from a bank robbery gone bad to not be afraid to seek medical attention, we should legalize bank robberies. According to the article, “State prosecutors here in Guanajuato have opened 166 investigations for abortion in 10 years, according to women’s health advocates. Most of them do not reach a judge, but nine women have been convicted for having abortions. They were sentenced to jail, but paid a bond to finish their sentences on parole.” That’s less than one conviction per year. It appears that if a mother has done nothing wrong, the evidence will show that and therefore they should not fear getting medical attention. The abortion supporters would have you believe that it is better to legalize abortion and start killing perfectly healthy babies at a woman’s sole discretion or to have law enforcement look the other way when laws are being broken than to put a small number of women (1.38 per month) through an investigative process to rule out wrongdoing. How absurd.

If abortion is legalized, women need to be more afraid of the abortion clinics that use surgery and chemicals to violate their procreative reproductive rights! Procreative reproductive rights mean that a woman gets all the care and information about her health that will allow her to be well enough to have babies if she ever wants to. This includes information about how all forms of abortion and chemical and surgical birth control methods are dangerous to procreative reproductive health and are linked to serious illnesses like infection, breast and cervical cancer, sterilization, etc.

The following is an excerpt from Did You Know offered by Human Life Alliance and offers findings from research on rape and incest Victims

Kathleen DeZeeuw’s son Patrick was conceived in rape when she was 16. “I feel personally assaulted and insulted every time I hear that abortion should be legal because of rape and incest,” stated Kathleen. “Having lived through rape, and also having raised a child ‘conceived in rape,’ I feel that we’re being used by pro-abortionists to further the abortion issue, even though we’ve not been asked to tell our side of the story.”

Twenty-five years after the abortion of her child, Edith Young, a 12-year old victim of incest agonized that, “The abortion which was to ‘be in my best interest’ just has not been. As far as I can tell, it only ‘saved their [my parents’] reputations’, ‘solved their problems’ and allowed their lives to go merrily on.”

Studies show that incest victims rarely ever voluntarily agree to abortion. Instead of viewing the pregnancy as unwanted, the incest victim is more likely to see the pregnancy as a way out of the incestuous relationship because the birth of her child will expose the sexual activity.

Researchers David C. Reardon, Julie Makimaa, and Amy Sobie completed a nine year study on pregnancy outcomes of sexual assault victims. As part of their research the authors found that after any abortion, it is common for women to experience guilt, depression, feelings of being “dirty,” resentment of men, and lowered self-esteem. These feelings are identical to what women typically feel after rape. Abortion only adds to and accentuates the traumatic feelings associated with sexual assault. Rather than easing the psychological burdens, abortion adds to them.

The two stories above are just the beginning of what is being exposed surrounding the tragedy of abortion due to rape and incest. Reardon, Makimaa, and Sobie identified testimonies from 192 women who became pregnant as a result of rape or incest and 55 children conceived in sexual assault and compiled them in their provocative book, Victims and Victors.

Pregnancy resulting from sexual assault is actually a contraindication for abortion. A doctor treating a sexual assault victim should advise against abortion precisely because of the traumatic nature of the pregnancy. The testimonies and studies quoted in this book confirm that both the mother and child are helped by preserving life, not by perpetuating violence.

A Victory For Unborn Babies – Sort Of

Thursday, September 23rd, 2010

A Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Cherry Hills, New Jersey has had to close its doors due to the lack of funding according to a report published in the Courier Post Online . But there is still a lot of work to be done as the overall number of Planned Parenthood clinics is on the rise.

Notice the first line where they refer to the killing center as “a family planning clinic.” Very skewed article with inaccurate percentages and statements made by Lynn Brown, the nonprofit’s president and chief executive officer. “Hum, Planned Parenthood not being straight forward with what they actually do?” said sarcastically. “What a surprise.” And I wonder why they didn’t interview anyone with a different perspective than “JoDanya Smith, 22, of Camden” who just happened to be in the office seeking services. They don’t want you to hear the whole truth, just the deceit of Planned Parenthood.

And then by their own admission, “Brown said one in four American women have used Planned Parenthood services nationwide and family planning agencies helped prevent nearly 40,000 unplanned pregnancies, which saved the state millions of dollars in health-related costs.” According to an article in LifeNews.com, “A new report indicates that Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion business, has increased the number of centers that do abortions. The report indicates Planned Parenthood is increasingly relying on the dangerous mifepristone (RU 486) abortion drug.” How many of the unplanned pregnancies that didn’t materialize were due to drug induced abortions? RU 486, according to RU486facts.org, blocks hormone production needed to continue a pregnancy. That means that the mother is already pregnant. The site also says, “Note: An RU-486 abortion involves two drugs. When taken alone, RU-486 causes a complete abortion only about 60% of the time. A second drug, a prostaglandin, is given 48 hours later to increase its effectiveness. The prostaglandin causes uterine contractions to help expel the embryo. Let’s define ‘embryo’, shall we. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, and embryo is defined as, “: an animal in the early stages of growth and differentiation that are characterized by cleavage, the laying down of fundamental tissue and the formation of primitive organs and organ systems; especially : the developing human individual from the time of implantation to the end of the eighth week after conception.” That sounds like an abortive drug to me. So of those 40,000 babies that didn’t have a chance to be born, how many of them were killed through prescribing medicine to the unsuspecting mothers?

Additionally, is Brown saying that it’s okay to kill babies if they are going to save the state money. What if we just picked a neighborhood that has a large part of the population on government assistance and just killed them to save the government money? Would that be okay? Oh yeah, Planned Parenthood is already doing that. Bad example. There are no good examples where it is even remotely okay to kill someone in order to save on expenses. That’s ridiculous.

We must continue to pray for the end abortion and for the closing of all the abortion mills across this country and the world. Join us in our “Prayer to End Abortion” campaign. We must “pray without ceasing” 1 Thessalonians 5:17, until all our brothers and sisters are protected, and our nation once again becomes a nation with liberty and justice not just for some, but for all.

God Bless!

Window To The Heart

Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010

A curious old man walked around his neighborhood every day for exercise. On his walk he would go by a vacant lot. One day as he went for his walk, he notices some trucks and people in the vacant lot. They looked like they were getting ready to build something there. As the construction progressed, the curious old man couldn’t help himself and he just had to know what was going on.

So, one day as the curious old man walked he stopped at the construction site and asked one of the men working, “What are you doing?” The man replied, “I’m putting up these walls so the structure will have strength. I use the best lumber and work hard to make sure they are as strong as they can be. Without strong walls the building could collapse during a bad storm.” “Okay,” replied the curious old man and he went on his way.

A couple of weeks went by and the walls were all up as was the roof. The curious old man saw a truck with lots of windows on it and so he went onto the site and asked the driver, “What are you doing?” The driver said, “I’m going to install these beautiful windows in this building. I made them myself from the finest glass available and they are built to last forever. They will really let in a lot of light and make the building look so much better.” “Okay,” replied the curious old man and he went on his way.

Another couple of weeks went by when the curious old man notices a couple of large truck with chandeliers on them. He, of course, wanted to know what was happening so he entered the building where the men were working and he approached one of them and asked, “What are you doing?” The man answered, “I’m installing these beautiful chandeliers. My brother and I made them ourselves from the finest crystal we could find. The light reflecting off the crystal will cast dancing lights all throughout this building and it will make the people smile with joy. “Okay,” replied the curious old man and he went on his way.

Several weeks went by when the curious old man noticed a truck with lots of wood on it. He just had to know what was happening so he entered the building where the man was working and he approached him and asked, “What are you doing?” The man answered, “I’m going to build and install these beautiful benches. I got the best wood I could find and I’ll build them so strong and beautiful that people will admire the workmanship every time they sit on them. They will really make people come to this building just to sit on them. “Okay,” replied the curious old man and he went on his way.

One day as curious old man went past the building, he noticed that it looked finished. As he went by he saw an old lady entering the building with several cleaning items. So being curious as he was, he just had to go talk to her. As he entered the building and approached her he inquired, “What are you doing?” The woman answered, “I’m building a church for God. I’ve been waiting for all the other workers to finish doing their part so I can do my part.” “Okay,” replied the curious old man and he went on his way.

As the curious old man sat at home that night, he thought to himself, “The cleaning lady was the only one that really got it. All the others were so focused on themselves and their individual skills and jobs that they missed the bigger picture.”

The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

Now the body is not made up of one part but of many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body.

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

1 Corinthians 12:12-26

Man is Man

Tuesday, September 21st, 2010

Man is man because he is free to operate within the framework of his destiny. He is free to deliberate, to make decisions, and to choose between alternatives. He is distinguished from animals by his freedom to do evil or to do good and to walk the high road of beauty or tread the low road of ugly degeneracy.

Our Father: A Conversation

Monday, September 20th, 2010

Our Father Who Art In Heaven.

Yes?

Don’t interrupt me. I’m praying.

But — you called ME!

Called you? No, I didn’t call you. I’m praying.
Our Father Who art in Heaven.

There — you did it again!

Did what?

Called ME. You said, “Our Father Who art in Heaven”
Well, here I am.. What’s on your mind?

But I didn’t mean anything by it. I was, you know, just saying my prayers for the day. I always say the Lord’s Prayer. It makes me feel good, kind of like fulfilling a duty.

Well, all right. Go on.

Okay,
Hallowed be Thy name.

Hold it right there. What do you mean by that?

By what?

By “Hallowed be Thy name”?

It means, it means . . good grief, I don’t know what it means. How in the world should I know? It’s just a part of the prayer. By the way, what does it mean?

It means honored, holy, wonderful.

Hey, that makes sense.. I never thought about what ‘hallowed’ meant before. Thanks.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.

Do you really mean that?

Sure, why not?

What are you doing about it?

Doing? Why, nothing, I guess. I just think it would be kind of neat if you got control, of everything down here like you have up there. We’re kinda in a mess down here you know.

Yes, I know; but, have I got control of you?

Well, I go to church.

That isn’t what I asked you. What about your bad temper? You’ve really got a problem there, you know.
And then there’s the way you spend your money — all on yourself. And what about the kind of books you read?

Now hold on just a minute! Stop picking on me! I’m just as good as some of the rest of those People at church!

Excuse ME.. I thought you were praying for My will to be done. If that is to happen, it will have to start with the ones who are praying for it. Like you — for example ..

Oh, all right. I guess I do have some hang-ups. Now that You mention it, I could probably name some others.

So could I.

I haven’t thought about it very much until now, but I really would like to cut out some of those things. I would like to, You know, be really free.

Good. Now we’re getting somewhere. We’ll work together — you and ME. I’m proud of you.

Look, Lord, if You don’t mind, I need to finish up here. This is taking a lot longer than it usually does.
Give us this day, our daily bread.

Speaking of daily bread. Don’t forget to fast.

Hey, wait a minute! What is this? Here I was doing my religious duty, and all of a sudden You break in and remind me of all my hang-ups.

Praying is a dangerous thing. You just might get what you ask for. Remember, you called ME — and here I am. It’s too late to stop now. Keep praying.

( pause . . )

Well, go on.

I’m scared to.

Scared? Of what?

I know what You’ll say.

Try ME.

Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.

What about Ann?

See? I knew it! I knew You would bring her up! Why, Lord, she’s told lies about me, spread stories. She never paid back the money she owes me. I’ve sworn to get even with her!

But — your prayer — What about your prayer?

I didn’t — mean it.

Well, at least you’re honest. But, it’s quite a load carrying around all that bitterness and resentment isn’t it?

Yes, but I’ll feel better as soon as I get even with her. Boy, have I got some plans for her. She’ll wish she had never been born.

No, you won’t feel any better. You’ll feel worse. Revenge isn’t sweet. You know how unhappy you are — Well, I can change that.

You can? How?

Forgive Ann. Then, I’ll forgive you; And the hate and the sin, will be Ann’s problem — not yours. You will have settled the problem as far as you are concerned.

Oh, You know, You’re right. You always are. And more than I want revenge, I want to be right with You . . (sigh). All right, all right . . I forgive her.

There now! Wonderful! How do you feel?

Hmmmm. Well, not bad. Not bad at all! In fact, I feel pretty great! You know, I don’t think I’ll go to bed uptight tonight. I haven’t been getting much rest, You know.

Yeah, I know. But, you’re not through with your prayer, are you? Go on.

Oh, all right.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Good! Good! I’ll do that. Just don’t put yourself in a place where you can be tempted.

What do You mean by that?

You know what I mean.

Yeah. I know.

Okay. Go ahead. Finish your prayer.

For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Do you know what would bring me glory — What would really make me happy?

No, but I’d like to know. I want to please You now. I’ve really made a mess of things. I want to truly follow You.. I can see now how great that would be. So, tell me . . . How do I make You happy?

You just did….
