Double Speak And False Investigations

In a recent blog, we reported to you that the FBI is teaming up with PPH and other abortion advocates to launch a so called investigation against the prolife movement. The latest in these tactics to silence free speech and stop the rescue of babies, mothers and families from the violence of abortion and the hindrance of the procreative reproductive rights movement is a blatant attack against the Prolife Freedom Rides, the toomanyaborted.com and maafa21.com awareness movements under the guise of investigative reporting by the self described “liberal, lefty person” Laura Flanders of GRITtv.

Along these same lines, NARAL is amping up their attacks on the crisis pregnancy centers in an effort to limit the information pregnant women are receiving. A press release and a recently released report only further demonstrate their desperation to silence pro-life activists. The report put out by NARAL is tantamount to saying that you should judge the existence of God based on a report put out by an Atheist group on their investigation of the Christian faith. The report is written in language intended to incite bias against pro-life organizations such as saying that they are “anti-choice.” Being pro-life is not the same as being anti-choice, but it is being for the choice to be made before a woman is pregnant. Claims made by NARAL in their report of scare or manipulative tactics are nothing more than the CPC staff education the mothers with the truth

The abortion industry is becoming increasingly concerned as more and more Americans are reporting to be pro-life, a shift in the right direction according to this individual. The more Americans hear the truth about abortion, the natural thing to do is become pro-life. Now I’m for choice, as was God,

Let’s Set The Record Straight: Martin Luther King, Jr. Was Pro-Life

There has been much controversy regarding my Uncle Martin’s view on abortion. I have always stated that my uncle was pro-life and would never support Planned Parenthood. There are those that contend that because he was given the PPFA Margaret Sanger Award from PPH (follow link Martin Luther King, Jr. and Planned Parenthood) that he was indeed pro-choice and would today support them. First of all, my uncle was a man of non-violence as evident by the 10 commandments of non-violence that all those working in the civil rights movement with him had to sign (scroll to bottom of page). He often spoke out against violence and for peaceful protests. Abortion is nothing but violence.

Many have seen, and some complained about, the photos (Warning: link contains graphic images and may not be suitable for children) of aborted babies that some pro-life activists display in order to bring awareness about just how violent abortions are. These are actual photos of babies obtained from various sources. These babies felt pain because no anesthesia is used (on the baby). Imagine having your arm or leg ripped off at the joint. That would be very painful. If a veterinarian did this to an animal, the animal activists would be all over the news asking for charges to be filed against him/her, yet we allow it to happen to a human baby. How repugnant is that and what does that say about our society? Read how Dr. Tony Levatino, M.D describes the Dilation and Evacuation Procedure. Fr. Frank Pavone describes and illustrates this same procedure on YouTube. How any mother can allow this to happen to her own baby is beyond comprehension. My Uncle Martin would never have supported this type of violence.

Secondly, Uncle Martin fought for the rights of every person, including the rights of the unborn. The right to life is paramount to all other rights. Without the right to life, the other rights are meaningless because the babies are not here to enjoy those rights. Our Declaration of Independence states that, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” Babies are a part of “all men” (male and female) mentioned above and thus have the “unalienable Rights… [to] Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” The scientific evidence clearly shows that at the moment of conception, the baby has 46 Chromosomes (23 from mom and 23 from dad). From that point on the number doesn’t change, only the size of the person changes. Uncle Martin would certainly be fighting for this small person’s rights.

So What Is the Obama Administration Doing With Your Tax Dollars Now?

As reported by LifeNews.com, on August 25, 2010 the FBI and the United States Department of Justice joined Planned Parenthood, the National Abortion Federation and the Feminist Majority Foundation to sponsor a training seminar. “What common ground do these groups have in common that they would co-sponsor a training seminar?” you may ask. Well, abortion, of course. Not so unusual for the last three groups but the FBI and the United States Department of Justice? I was surprised, too.

As it turns out, the Obama administrations is putting their full support behind pro-abortion organizations to try and silence the pro-life movement by declaring free speech activities as “violent.”

It has long been know and documented that during the civil rights movement those opposed to the cause would infiltrate the movement in order to discredit the movement and all those associated with it. It wouldn’t surprise me if that same practice is being utilized against the pro-life movement as a way to get people to denounce pro-lifers. I’m not saying that there may not be a few who would, out of frustration or some misguided sense of protecting the innocent, become violent. But the vast majority of pro-life activists and pro-life groups are non-violent and many, such as Priests for Life, make their employees sign a Statement of Non-Violence. But the pro-aborts would use the actions of the few to silence everyone.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Planned Parenthood

I went to Kroger this weekend and as I was checking out through the self-checkout lane, I noticed a sticker on the register that read, “Susan G. Komen for the Cure”. I called the attendant over and asked her what the sticker was for. She very proudly said, “We’re collecting money for them to find a cure for breast cancer.” So I then began to tell her that Susan G. Komen for the Cure donates millions of money to Planned Parenthood. I then asked her if she knew who Planned Parenthood was. She said that she didn’t. I then explained to her that Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of abortions in the United States and that here is a link between abortion and breast cancer. I said, “Isn’t it funny that Susan G. Komen for the Cure is raising money to find a cure for breast cancer while at the same time giving millions of dollars to an organization that performs abortions on women and provides birth control both of which have been linked to breast cancer.” She said, “I didn’t know that.” I bet next time someone asks her about that sticker, she won’t be so proud that they are collecting money to find a cure for breast cancer or at least share more with the shopper.

What a scheme. Planned Parenthood does abortions and provide birth control pills which are linked to breast cancer and then Susan G. Komen for the Cure raises money to give to Planned Parenthood to do mammograms. They make you sick then raise money to treat you and then butcher you with breast surgery. Does anyone see anything wrong with this picture?

There Can be No Truce on Abortion

Some pro-life politicians and candidates for office have drawn national attention by calling for a truce on abortion to allow them to concentrate on jobs, housing and other issues.

This is a proposal the Vote Pro-Life Coalition cannot accept. There can be no truce.

A truce would suggest there are issues more important than life, that abortion is somehow a negotiable issue. It is not. In fact, the heart and core and foundation of every issue is precisely the dignity of the human person and his or her right to life.

The Vote Pro-Life Coalition therefore reaffirms that there is no issue more important than life, and that abortion is not negotiable.

We reiterate the necessity of electing pro-life candidates; such candidates never shy away from explicitly dealing with the abortion issue.

How Does It Affect The Children

In the news today is a story by Jill Stanek about a nurse who works at an abortion killing center and the affects it had on her daughter. It recounts the horrific things the daughter went through as she grew up with a “feminist” mother. Abigail Seidman recounts the “celebration” her mother gave her when she had her abortion and referring to the abortion she said, “When it was over, Abigail’s mother looked at her with tears in her eyes and told her how proud she was. Despite Abigail’s previous academic and artistic accomplishment, she realized “this was the only time in my life that my mother had ever said she was proud of me.” And responding to the interviewer’s question regarding the abortion worship she had heard so much about, Abigail said, “It is very real,” she explained. “It can sound fantastical, but some go so far as to worship death goddesses like Kali and Hecate and consider abortion to be a form of sacrifice. They are often obsessed with their menstruation and blood as well.” Sound familiar. (See blog of Sept. 28, 2010 below)

Here is an excerpt from Abigail’s testimony”

“It is important to recognize and effectively counter the culture of death that drives the abortion industry. Most people who are pro-choice have no idea about it. If they have given the issue any thought at all, they view it as either a religious one – “Christians hate women and sex” – or a civil-rights one – “Women have the right to make their own reproductive decisions.” Many are unaware of the scientific facts about fetal development. Many are unaware of the statistics and medical facts regarding miscarriages, infertility, infection, ectopic pregnancy, difficult births, cancers and mental-health issues that so often occur in post-abortive women. Many are unaware of the non-religious arguments against abortion.”

Just earlier this week we told you about Rebecca Walker, another mother who also had grown up with a “feminist” mother. Both tell of their ordeal and how they had been raised to hate men, and view abortion as the solution to many problems. But nothing is further from the truth.

Please read the stories of Abigail Seidman and Rebecca Walker and see the similarities in what they were told and how they discovered the real truth.

The last time we blogged about Rebecca Walker, someone commented that not all feminist are like the ones in these stories. We agree and think it’s important to point out that there are groups out there doing good work like Feminists for Life and Susan B. Anthony List. I think that the difference is in the feminist’s moral values as both Abigail and Rebecca had to find out the hard way.

If you find yourself pregnant and alone and you don’t know how you can raise a child, there are other available options that abortion. There are also many organizations that are ready, willing, and able to help you find out the best solution for you. All you need to do is take the first step and call. Planned Parenthood’s New Smoke Screen

If you want to quit smoking, do you look to cigarette manufacturers for advice? The answer’s obvious. But like some tobacco companies that actually provide their own guidance on how to stop smoking, Planned Parenthood is now offering advice on how to reduce abortions in the African American community.

Pardon my skepticism, but I find it hard to believe that the nation’s largest abortion provider wants to reduce its profit margins.

The abortion industry, Planned Parenthood in particular, has been stung recently by data and events that point toward racism in its very core. African American women are 4.8 times more likely to have abortions than white women. Even though blacks comprise only 13 percent of the population, we receive 37 percent of all abortions. Perhaps most revealing — seven offices of Planned Parenthood were caught on tape this year as willing to accept donations for the sole purpose of aborting black babies.

In light of such news, what’s a business built on euphemisms, obfuscation, and outright lies to do?

Well, apparently the plan is to follow the lead of the tobacco industry. Like cigarette manufacturers who talked about everything and anything except their own internal memos, Planned Parenthood’s attempting to distract attention away from its practices.

That the abortion industry would look to big tobacco for guidance is appropriate. Abortion providers, like tobacco companies, survive economically by offering goods or services that cause deaths; the former, 1.2 million annually, the latter, 440,000. Both have had to stretch the bounds of public relations to try to counter one bad news story after another. And if anyone has used the term “choice” more than the abortion lobby, it’s the smoking lobby.

So, let’s just forget about the fact that abortion businesses locate the great majority of their clinics in minority neighborhoods. Let’s just listen as Planned Parenthood’s own research arm, the Alan Guttmacher Institute, passes down its wisdom from on high. What, according to Planned Parenthood, is the reason why an incredible number of abortions are performed on black women? It’s because African Americans don’t receive enough contraceptives and value-free sex education!

Of course. And, let’s see, just who would profit financially if more birth control pills and devices were distributed and sex education curricula adopted? Why, it would be Planned Parenthood.

Then, what would happen if more women, especially young women, received birth control that they mistakenly thought freed them from the possibility of pregnancy and if more adolescents were indoctrinated with Planned Parenthood-style sex education that encouraged promiscuity? Even more abortions.

And who would profit from more abortions? You guessed it.

Putting aside for a moment, though, the fact that Planned Parenthood proposes a solution that would enrich it financially, would more birth control given to African American women really mean fewer abortions of blacks?

Let’s look at New York City.

If there is any place in the United States where birth control is accessible, it’s New York City. Free contraceptives are available to anyone on Medicaid, including teenagers. Over 50 publicly funded programs offer free or low-cost birth control pills, condoms, and other contraceptive devices to New Yorkers at 218 sites, most of which are in the city itself. The New York Sun reported in December 2006 that the city was distributing 1.5 million free condoms a month.

The result of all this freely available birth control? It’s not fewer abortions.

While in the United States there are 24 abortions for every 100 live births, in New York City there are 72 abortions for every 100 live births. Though the number of abortions performed in the United States continues to drop, abortions in New York City continue to hover around 90,000 annually, with the number actually increasing from 2005 to 2006, the last year for which statistics are available. Blacks, who make up 24 percent of New York City’s population, still receive a disproportionate 45 percent of its abortions.

The truth remains that even if contraceptives were made available to absolutely everyone, abortion would still be common. According to the Guttmacher Institute’s own statistics, over half of all women who have abortions were using birth control when they got pregnant.

What might seem, then, as a suggestion by Planned Parenthood to solve the African American abortion crisis actually turns out to be nothing more than an attempt to further line its own coffers. And, oh yes, it’s a clever way to deflect attention away from what truly needs examination – the policies and practices of an industry that has wiped out one-quarter of the black population.
