Lonely People

Monday, December 13th, 2010

On a recent visit to the Sunlight Maternity Home in Florida, I was inspired by the director there to write about the loneliness women feel, that sometimes leads us to “unplanned choices.” We know that abortion really doesn’t give a woman a choice, it brings pain to the woman, and death to the baby… Even the dads of the babies are hurt one way or the other. They lose their seed even if their hearts are not immediately broken.

Loneliness and Longings of the Human Heart: Let Jesus fill your cup!

Women often choose “dead end” relationships with the biological dads of their children because of the “deep loneliness” they feel. The need to be touched, to be close leads some down a sad path…

Women and men often seek physical answers to spiritual loneliness. In the book THE SEVEN LONGINGS OF THE HUMAN HEART, authors Mike Bickle and Deborah Hiebert explain how loneliness can be ultimately answered by God’s love. The answer seems so simple, that people don’t have the faith and trust to try Jesus!

After defining the Nature of Longing, the authors list and discuss the seven longings:
1. The longing to be enjoyed by God
2. The longing for fascination
3. The longing for Beauty
4. The longing for greatness
5. The longing for intimacy without shame
6. The longing to be wholehearted
7. The longing to make a deep and lasting impact

Friends, I too have longed for all of this, and am experiencing an increasing measure of fulfillment in my walk with God! For instance, my pastor has asked that those of us who desire a serious increase in success in our lives listen to 50 chapters of the Bible every day. For me, I intersperse the chapters throughout a busy day, some in the morning, some mid-day and some before I sleep at night. The Word of God fills the lonely places! Then, just the time looking at the stars, the sky, the gifts all around us, in nature, in the smiles of our children, oh my! Even if we don’t have children, we have God’s love! Really!

In praying this adaptation of the Litany of Humility, following Jesus’ instructions to pray to Father (or ABBA) God and not to Jesus, (John 16:23, and Matthew 6:9) I find that loneliness flees even further away. Please, if you are lonely, drink from the fountain of God’s love and be refreshed!

Adopted from Litany of Humility by Merry Cardinal del Val, secretary of state to Pope Saint Pius X from the prayer book for Jesuits, 1963.

ABBA Father, who gives us your Divine Love, and Your gift of the Holy Spirit, to You who are Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we give you praise. Hear and answer our prayer oh Father…

From the desire of being esteemed, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the desire of being loved, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the desire of being extolled, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the desire of being honored, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the desire of being praised, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the desire of being preferred to others, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the desire of being consulted, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the desire of being approved, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the fear of being humiliated, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the fear of being despised, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the fear of suffering rebukes, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the fear of being calumniated, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the fear of being forgotten, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the fear of being ridiculed, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the fear of being wronged, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.
From the fear of being suspected, Deliver me, Heavenly Father.

That others may be loved more than I, Heavenly Father, grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may be esteemed more than I, Heavenly Father, grant me the grace to desire it.
That, in the opinion of the world, others may increase and I may decrease,
Heavenly Father, grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may be chosen and I set aside, Heavenly Father, grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may be praised and I go unnoticed, Heavenly Father, grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may be preferred to me in everything, Heavenly Father, grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may become holier than I, provided that I may become as holy as I should, Heavenly Father, grant me the grace to desire it.

Love

“Love is patient, is kind; love does not envy, is not pretentious, is not puffed up, is not ambitious, is not self-seeking, is not provoked; thinks no evil, does not rejoice over wickedness, but rejoices with the truth, bears with all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (1 Cor. 13:4-7).

To have Love is to love God above all things for Himself and be ready to renounce all created things rather than offend Him by serious sin. ( Matt. 22:36-40)

Missions and Assignments VS Agendas, Relationships, Friendly Fire and other Little Foxes

Thursday, December 9th, 2010

“Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom. – Song of Solomon 2:15 (Everyone protects themselves from the big attacks, but it is the small attacks, the little foxes, that will destroy the movement.)

“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” – 2 Corinthians 10:4

Okay, if you are in the Pro-Life Movement, this message is for you. Friends, face it, we are in a spiritual war! Some of us joined as volunteers, some of us were recruited, and some of us were drafted. Either way, we’re in the battle now.

“That all of them may be one” John 17:21

Question, do you find that you are under “frontal attack?” I mean, are you examining or reexamining why you even joined this fight in the first place? Do you find that your friends seem more like enemies? Is the little green eyed monster (jealousy) lurking in the corner? Is there a “spirit of competition” to be overcome? My friends, these are all tactics of our enemy, Satan!

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” – Matthew 6:33

First, let’s ask ourselves, “are we on a mission, and is God our general, and are we allowing God to give us “assignments?”” What we mean by this is, have we “died to our flesh, our own motives and agendas?” If we are still going by our own agendas, we are fighting by the flesh and not by the spirit. And if so, we are in big trouble because, like I said, we are in a spiritual war and it will require spiritual warfare to win the war. In this war, our personal agendas must go out the window, or they will become nooses around our necks. Everything will begin to be about us, and not about God’s mission. We need to humble ourselves and give God the glory.

For example, suppose God tells us something like Jesus said to the Rich Young Ruler: “Sell all you have and give to the poor.” Would our first response be, “I can’t do that, my Board would kill me?” Okay, take a deep breath, God probably isn’t going to tell all of us to sell all we have and give to the poor, or even to leave everything we have and “follow Him.” But if He did, would we? How bad do we want to win this war?

Relax, this is just food for thought.

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? – Matthew 6:25

Second, think about this. In a war, sometimes soldiers turn on each other, either on purpose or by accident. This “friendly fire” makes us more vulnerable to the enemy. One reason we fight each other could be a lack of understanding, respect and regard for the various “gifts and callings” we have. We need to be one, united in God’s love, understanding that if one fights in the air, one on the ground, one on the sea, and one on the computer, we are still The Body of Christ… Also, the spirits of competition, envy and jealousy come into action in these situations. We can find ourselves competing for the same dollars, the same projects, etc. and it’s easy to get frustrated and even jealous when it seems like someone steps over us to give something to someone else…

Honestly, this isn’t about losing anything; it is about gaining everything, including victory for LIFE! Would you please take just a few minutes and read this parable, THE EYE OF THE NEEDLE. At the end, you will discover that we can either lose everything or gain everything!

Christmas is coming, so let me give an early and sincere Merry Christmas to you…

A Prayer For The Civil Rights Pro-Life Battle

Wednesday, December 8th, 2010

Because the African American Community only make up about 12% of the population but account for about 35% of all abortions in America, it’s time for the Black Pastors, Black Leaders, and the Black Community to take the lead in the fight to end abortion. As the only ethnic group (not race, ethnic group as we are all one race) in America that is not replacing itself today, we need to turn the tide and the Church is a vital part of the journey. I invite everyone, especially those in the Black Community, to join me in praying the following prayer (adapted from the National Black Catholic Congress Prayer)

O Lord our God,
under the shadow of Your wings
we have found refuge, strength, and hope.

We know that You are with us today,
just as You were present with those gone before us,
upon whose shoulders we now stand.

You were with our ancestors
as they journeyed to this land;
their strength they gained from You.

You were with past generations,
who sojourned through tough times and rough places;
their hope they gained from You.

Time and again with an outstretched arm
You delivered them as they clung to You;
their faith they gained from You.

Lord, we call upon You
to do for us today
what You did for others in the past.
Lead us, your people,
through this new place and time in history.
Bless the work of the National Black Pro-Life Movement.
Level the mountains of oppression we still face,
and make the crooked way straight.

Guide our feet to the place You want us to be,
and unite us in our struggle,
that we may be
strengthened in our faith
and secure in your promise that
“the lame shall walk,
the blind shall see,
the oppressed shall be set free.”

Lord, please help us bring your righteousness
and judgment to the Civil Rights/Pro-Life Battle.

This we ask in the name of Jesus the Lord.

Amen.

A Creation Parable by Alveda King

Tuesday, December 7th, 2010

I emerged from the womb of an ancient goddess, known by many as Eve. Her husband Adam was also a god favored by the Almighty Creator. Adam and Eve were the first power couple known to human kind. Adam walked with Great Creator I AM in the Garden of the Great Country of Eden during the cool of the day.

Adam’s intellect was so superior that he was able to name all the plants and animals that inhabited Adam’s palatial mansion, called Earth. Mother or Planet Earth was uniquely beautiful in those days. The climate and atmosphere were perfect, ripe for procreative abundance. Great Creator I AM was so pleased with all that Great Creator I AM had made, that Great Creator I AM gave Adam and Eve full license to “be fruitful and multiply.”

Indeed, Adam’s physical body had been formed from the substance of Mother Earth. Great Creator I AM fashioned Adam’s magnificent body from the dust of Mother Earth. Later, Great Creator I AM caused mighty Adam to fall into a deep sleep. Then, Great Creator I AM took DNA and RNA substance from Adam and fashioned our ancient, beautiful and powerful goddess Mother Eve.

For many years, Adam and Eve resided primarily in the Garden of Eden on their planet. Together they had dominion over everything. Then, one day, an adversary of the Creator, who had been banished from the Royal Courts of Great Creator I AM made his evil advance into the Paradise of Adam and Eve.

This particularly cunning enemy was very jealous of Adam and Eve, because, having rebelled against the Mighty Great Creator I AM, the adversary Lucifer lost his lofty authority in the heavens. Lucifer had been foolish enough to say that he would exalt himself above the heavenly throne of Great Creator I AM. Needless to explain, but I will attempt it anyway, Great Creator I AM was not about to be dethroned, so Lucifer and his companions in the crime of treason against Great Creator I AM was cast out of the heavens into outer darkness.

Then, one day, the Holy Spirit of Great Creator I AM moved over the interplanetary shadows of a heretofore unnoticed planet called Earth. Great Creator I AM spoke energy light into the atmosphere of Mother Earth, and life appeared on the planet. This is where Great Creator I AM fashioned Adam and Eve and established their Earth Kingdom in the Garden of Eden.

Enemy Lucifer would not leave well enough alone. He hated his exile. After all, he had been the choir leader in Heaven. He was the most talented and the most beautiful of all the angels. His elevated status had never been enough. He “wanted it all.” Never has there been a greater example of self love, than that of Lucifer.

The banishment of the fallen angel Lucifer/Satan is noted as being so severe that the Only Begotten Son of Great Creator I AM would one day recall that HE saw this ancient serpentine enemy fall from Planet Heaven like lightening.

At any rate, Angel Lucifer as he was known at the time, decided to slither into the Garden of Eden and seduce Adam’s wife. His seduction was so effective that it disrupted the harmony of Eden.

Enemy Lucifer wanted Earth, but had no legal way to wrest it from Adam. So, Lucifer seduced Mother Eve. Mother Eve tried to reason out in her own mind the edicts of Great Creator I AM that had been given to her husband Adam. They were not to eat of the knowledge of the tree of good and evil. Eve was beguiled by Lucifer and ate of the fruit. Adam was not beguiled, but a part of himself, his DNA/RNA connection to Eve had already partaken, so he joined his wife in the act of partaking of the “forbidden fruit.”

After the fruit of forbidden knowledge was conceived, Great Creator I AM cast them out of the Garden, away from the tree of life. Adam and Eve, whose spiritual energy and perfectly balanced souls had been housed in a perfect physical body, were now subject to time. They moved out of the timeless dimensions of Eden, into the boundaries of time and decay of what earth would become.

Great Creator I AM placed a flaming sword at the “gate” of Eden, so that Adam and Eve would not have the courage to “walk through the fire” to return to Paradise.

In the midst of Lucifer’s seduction and Adam and Eve’s subsequent “fall from Great Creator I AM’s grace,” two sons were conceived; Cain being of his father the evil one, and Able being the Son of Adam. Cain, in a fit of rage, killed Abel. Murder was now in the earth.

Adam’s and Eve’s bodies, no longer eternally existing in a timeless state, begin to “die.” Great Creator I AM had warned them that not following the Creator’s Divine Instructions would lead to “death.” This state of “death” had previously been unknown to Creation.

Over the next thousands of years, men and women would be born, and then die on Planet Earth. Only the promise of a “Redeemer” gave the people hope.

Great Creator I AM had a timeless plan. “For Great Creator I AM so loved the world, that Great Creator I AM gave Great Creator I AM’s Only Begotten Son, Jesus, so that anyone who believes on, has faith in and accepts the Lordship of Jesus the Christ, shall not perish, but shall have the everlasting life promised to us before the beginning of time as we know and understand it.”

Much of this Truth has been distorted by human reasoning and demonic interference. Yet, Great Creator I AM loves us so much, that we are welcome into eternity, if we accept the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Pursue Truth, and life. Amen.

ella Causes Abortions: The Lies Continue. Wake Up America

Monday, December 6th, 2010

ella” the new abortion drug, which became readily available at pharmacies across the country does cause abortions. Being marketed as a contraceptive, this drug is more like the RU-486 abortion pill.

In addition to ella not being a contraceptive, but rather the next generation of RU-486 which has cause substantial health risks for women, it also has the potential cause side effects like birth defects, infections, and hemorrhage.

According to a Lifenews.com article, “To date, at least 13 women have died after using RU-486, and possibly dozens, according to the European maker of the mifepristone abortion drug.” Since they are similar, ella has the same potential to harm women as does RU-486.

The ChristianNewsWire quotes Wendy Wright, President of Concerned Women of America. “The information for doctors admits that ella caused abortions in animal trials, yet the website and information for patients does not warn women of this. Questions were raised that the drug may cause birth defects, yet the FDA allowed the drug company to avoid testing for birth defects. This is a deliberate effort to deceive women who would not otherwise take a drug that could harm their baby.”

Read and listen to what doctors say about “ella” and how it works.

As if it isn’t bad enough that this drug kills babies and harms women, Planned Parenthood is taking credit for helping bring this drug to market. Next they’ll be boasting of the number of babies they’ve helped kill with this drug.

In a separate article from Americans United for Life, they explains some of the “misinformation” being dished out by the drug maker. “Watson does not say an embryo (a distinct human being) is prevented from implanting in the uterus. A person viewing Watson’s website, who is not familiar with the science, may believe Watson is referring to an egg and not an embryo, since the phrase immediately follows a sentence stating ella may “stop[] or delay[] ovulation (the release of an egg from an ovary).”

The Frequently Asked Questions section on the KwikMed website, where women can order ella without even having seen a doctor, is blatantly inaccurate. KwikMed tells women that ella “may also work by preventing attachment (implantation) of the egg to the uterine wall.” However, it is a developing embryo, a distinct human being, that is prevented from implanting, not an egg.

Watson and KwikMed also fail to inform women that, by blocking progesterone, ella can starve an embryo to death even after implantation. (During pregnancy, progesterone is necessary to build and maintain the lining of the uterine wall. Thus, by blocking progesterone, an SPRM can either prevent a developing human embryo from implanting in the uterus, or it can kill an implanted embryo by starving it to death.)”

Why are we, as a society, so driven to satisfy our desires that we’re willing to kill our children and hurt ourselves to achieve that end? Jesus Christ loves us so much that He gave His life for our sins. We have so much to learn from Him. Until we turn back to Him, I fear we will continue down this selfish destructive path we’re on.

Why Do People Not Get It?

Friday, December 3rd, 2010

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in America. 78% of their clinics are in minority communities. Blacks make up 12% of the population, but 35% of the abortions in America. Are we being targeted? Isn’t that genocide? We are the only minority in America that is on the decline in population. If the current trend continues, by 2038 the black vote will be insignificant. Did you know that the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was a devout racist who created the Negro Project designed to sterilize unknowing black women and others she deemed as undesirables of society? The founder of Planned Parenthood said, “Colored people are like human weeds and are to be exterminated.” How is her vision being fulfilled today?

Minority women constitute only about 26% of the female population (age 15-44) in the United States, but they underwent approximately 36% of the abortions. According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, black women are more than 3 times as likely as white women to have an abortion. On average, 1,452 black babies are aborted every day in the United States.

This incidence of abortion has resulted in a tremendous loss of life. It has been estimated that since 1973 Black women have had over 13 million abortions. Michael Novak had calculated “Since the number of current living Blacks (in the U.S.) is 31 million, the missing 10 million represents an enormous loss, for without abortion, America’s Black community would now number 41 million persons. It would be 35% larger than it is. Abortion has swept through the Black community like a scythe, cutting down every fourth member.”

A highly significant 1993 Howard University study showed that African American women over age 50 were 4.7 times more likely to get breast cancer if they had had any abortions compared to women who had not had any abortions.

You Can Promote Life!

From L.E.A.R.N (Life Education and Resource Network)

“When Christian ministers can help people connect the dots from “the love of money”, “lust of the flesh”, and “the boastful pride of life” to the branches of the wicked tree (“safe sex”, racism, abortion, sodomy, “same-sex marriage”, ad nauseum) then the Christian community will be able to discern, clean up our own house, and be in a position to speak and act with authority to deal with the problem at every level. And such a people will understand why its important not to just de-fund PP but to expose any and everyone who plays a part in their wicked schemes.”

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. And The Civil Rights Of The Unborn

Thursday, December 2nd, 2010

“The Negro cannot win if he is willing to sacrifice the futures of his children for immediate personal comfort and safety. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 1929-1968
“I say today that we as Christians must press on, in the conviction that we are “a colony of heaven,” called to obey God rather than man. Small in number, we must remain big in commitment. We must be too God intoxicated to be “astronomically intimidated.” By our effort and example may God use us, as imperfect vessels that we are, to bring an end to such ancient evils as infanticide, abortion, racism and oppression.” Dr. Alveda C. King reflections on Letter from a Birmingham Jail

In 1939, Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood outlined her plan to eliminate the Black community: “The most successful, educational appeal to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their rebellious members.”

Dr. King was among a select group of Negro leaders, hand picked to promote a seemingly beneficial plan to promote healthy family planning. It was a plan of wolf in sheep’s clothing, and Trojan Horse proportions. Dr. King, a man of love, peace, non-violence and strong Christian faith would be assassinated before the truth of the Planned Parenthood map for genocide would be made public after the passage of Roe VS Wade. The abortion agenda is in direct conflict with the teachings of Dr. King.

In 1966, Martin Luther King, Jr., a non-violent supporter of natural family planning, was offered the Planned Parenthood Margaret Sanger Award. In the acceptance speech, delivered by Mrs. Coretta Scott King, because Dr. King didn’t attend the ceremony, Mrs. King points to the benefits of family planning among Negro families and the “kinship” between the civil rights movement and Margaret Sanger’s early efforts. This speech did not include the word abortion. There is much speculation regarding who the real author of the speech was. During her lifetime, Mrs. King, unlike her husband, supported abortion and a more liberal view on marriage and human sexuality. ”

As Dr. King’s niece, I too once accepted the lies of Planned Parenthood until the truth of the violence of abortion was revealed to me. If Planned Parenthood had announced that over 50 million babies would be aborted in the onslaught of their agenda, I would never have aborted a child. Dr. King would never have agreed with the violent violation of the civil rights of the millions of aborted babies, and Planned Parenthood’s subsequent blitz of women’s health problems related to chemical and artificial birth control methods. This conclusion leads me to remind my readers that I too have a dream, it’s in my genes. How can the dream survive if we murder the children?

The Second Coming of Christ

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010

Advent focuses our minds and hearts on the Second Coming of Christ. At a time nobody knows, He will return to earth, separate good from evil entirely, and publicly judge every person who ever lived. All the good we have done, especially at the price of ridicule, will be rewarded in the presence of the entire human family and the saints of all time. Those who ridiculed us, especially for our pro-life stance, will be proven wrong, and will be ashamed of not having stood for life.

As Advent reminds us of these things, let it strengthen us to be even bolder in speaking up for what is true and right. In the light of the eternal judgment and the Second Coming of Christ, what sacrifice is too great to make for our smallest brothers and sisters who need our help today?

Abolishing Idols And Cash Cows

Tuesday, November 30th, 2010

2 Corinthians 6:16 (NIV) What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

Abolish
- to end the observance or effects of, annul, destroy – as in we need to abolish abortion. Period!
Abolitionist – one who abolishes – as in pro-life and anti-slavery advocates are abolitionists!
Cash cow – a consistently profitable business, property, or product whose profits are used to finance a company’s investments in other areas. One regarded or exploited as reliable source of money – as in a term commonly or loosely used in context to personalities such as celebrities, athletes, actors and actresses, entertainers, mega preachers and community activists.
Sacred cow – one that is often unreasonably immune from criticism or opposition – as in one’s political party of choice, one’s political candidate of choice, one’s religious denomination, abortion, Planned Parenthood, etc.
Idol – a representation or symbol of an object of worship; broadly : a false god – as in one’s money, one’s house, one’s political party, etc.
Idolater – a person who admires intensely and often blindly one that is not usually a subject of worship – as in one who worships an inanimate object or is obsessed with a person or something.

This blog is in reference to a comment left by Jonathan O’Toole regarding yesterday’s blog. (Comment can be viewed by scrolling to the third comment of the link above.)

Do you know why the pro-aborts have succeeded so far? They don’t fight among each other, demoralizing those within their ranks. We in the pro-life movement, on the other hand, spend an inordinate amount of time correcting each other, instead of praying for each other, respecting our various gifting and callings, etc. I am personally guilty of some of this, and am constantly asking God to help me, because our false pride has been part of our hinderance.

First let me clear up a comment posted on Facebook. The blogger writes that, “Whomever is speaking for Alveda, whom I revere, apparently is unaware that Oprah is pro-abortion.” And Jonathan says, “I noticed that (previous blogger’s name omitted), but look at Alveda’s blog at http://networkedblogs.com/bb01m where she acts like she’s responding to what I said & those words about Oprah are presented as hers.”

Friends, this is Alveda speaking right here, not a Ghost Writer! I pray for Oprah, and yes, I do know her stand on abortion versus life. I used to be pro-abortion and someone prayed for me. God loved me way back then, just as much as he loved everyone in the pro-life movement. God’s love never fails! This is why I rejoice in seeing the light as it were, and becoming pro-life!

I am extremely busy and I do have an assistant who helps me out a lot. We work together to reply to comments and to post my blogs. The reference to Oprah was in no way an endorsement of her views on abortion or any other issue but rather was in reference of how she, as does Sally Struthers, also mentioned, use their name recognition to further what they are passionate about.

Jonathan also wondered if I would delete his comment on my blog. I would not censor anyone for stating his or her view. In fact, I welcome opposing comments as they help bring conversation to a subject that many would rather avoid.

Jonathan also points out, and this point we can agree on, that the ban on partial birth may in fact be a cash cow of sorts for some in the pro-life movement but not for all. We at Priests for life, also in the Black Prolife Movement, and I in particular, are not working for regulation of abortion, but for the decimation of abortion. Nothing else will suffice.

Does that mean that we will not applaud any small steps towards that end? Of course not! If a law is passed to restrict abortion to anyone under the age of 18, we will applaud the progress and continue to fight until abortion is abolished completely. Mr. O’Toole says that, “these parceled-out pieces….are designed to salve the consciences of people who are in denial of what would be required to be done to really abolish abortion.” Tell that to the baby of the 16 year old who has life because of the new law. I do not pretend to know the intentions of those making these laws but I am not in denial of what it will take to abolish abortion. It is because I understand it too clearly that I welcome any and all advances towards that end. I really do appreciate those whom God has designed to shine the light on the nefariously clever tactics of the enemy who influences people to play political games with incremental tactics. This is indeed going on, but these tactics cannot be allowed to paralyze the pro-life community!

Merriam-Webster defines “progress” as: a forward or onward movement (as to an objective or to a goal) : ADVANCE. As Fr. Frank rightly said in his radio spot I posted, “partial birth abortion … blurred the line between abortion and infanticide.” Without this important advance towards the abolishment of abortion, a large shift could have been generated in the other direction towards the killing of more babies, not only unborn babies but also born babies that are no longer wanted.

Incremental now becomes…? The next incremental step or progress may be the catalyst to ending abortion. We’re not after mere progress; we’re after abolition, abolishing abortion now!

Jonathan also called me a front for the enemy so to speak, and I do take affront to that! Here’s Jonathan’s quote: “the Republicans and the status-quo maintaining pro-life organizations that you front for REPACKAGE opposition to abortion AD INFINITUM ET AD NAUSEUM to conjure political momentum in every cycle.” (emphasis added). Jonathan, I (Alveda) am not a front for anyone and as I have said before, “I work for God and he is neither Republican, Democrat, Independent, Tea Party Member nor a member of any other party! If an injustice is perpetuated on a continuous basis and people are more apt to pay attention to politicians running for office, it only makes sense to speak about that injustice when people are paying attention. The issue is not being repackaged by Alveda as Mr. O’Toole contends. The real pro-life movement, not the political counterfeit, is actually trying to attack the issue from every angle. Kinda like the several branches of the military, some on the ground, some in the air, some in the water, some on the computers, etc.

There are even some in the Black community who have referred to me as a token “Negro” for the pro-life movement. Now Jonathan seems to think of me as “the cash cow that somebody [maybe the fake pro-life movement] has created out of Alveda & the King family name.” I am nobody’s “Negro for sale” and nobody’s “cash cow.” I am just fighting for what I believe and I believe everyone, including the Black Community, the Black Church, and the Black Leaders are pivotal in the next step towards the ending of abortion. In fact, I thank God for those warriors in the Real Prolife Movement, who recognize the strength of all the warriors from every walk of life, every ethnic group, each and all of us embracing each other and respecting each other as we fight together.

Jonathan speaks of “organiz[ing] an interposition movement.” Yet another “movement” within “The Movement.” Our “movement” is actually a “Spiritual Brigade” formed of many smaller “movements,” all part of “God’s Army.” We all need to work together because it is going to take all of us to combat the big money of the pro-abortion machine. This is why I and many of my prolife friends appear in so many books and documentaries together to advance the message that abortion must be abolished. We do not support the concept that raising money to fight abortion without having a near end to abortion in sight is ethical. In fact, we are appealing to people to stop thinking of fighting abortion as a lifelong vocation. Rather, being prolife is a lifelong vocation; this includes ending abortion now and teaching people in the aftermath how to support life on every level, life, marriage, family and community. In other words, the battle to end abortion in America has gone on too long. It is time to end abortion now!

What would really put sacred idols on God’s alter is the defunding planned parenthood who practices eugenics and genocide right now in the 21st Century, and bringing the personhood issue to the forefront. That is our Dred Scott issue of today, recognizing all human beings, including womb babies as persons.

Friends, in order to accomplish the end to abortion in our lifetime, we must love and respect each other, and stop attacking each other!

“As it is, there are many parts, but one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.” 1 Corinthians 12:20-26 (NIV)

We are the body of Christ fighting for the souls, breath, and bodies of His innocent unborn. Let’s not be “Devil’s fodder” turning on each other. Victory is in sight. Let’s thank God for unearthing more of the plot and let’s warn Congress we won’t settle for cash cows or sacred cows or make issues like partial birth abortion idols. We want an end to legalized abortion in our lifetime!
