To The African American Students At Princeton University

Friday, February 18th, 2011

It’s my understanding that some students, perhaps you who are reading this letter, are disturbed about the posting of the Human Life Alliance’s brochure, “Did You Know?” on campus bulletin boards. While I don’t know the specific concerns that those who are upset have, I would like to address the brochure as a whole.

First, let me say that I understand anger. I have witnessed anger, both righteous and unrighteous, all my life. As a child, I lost schoolmates to a bombing. My own home was firebombed while I was in it. My father, the Reverend A.D. King, and my uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., gave their lives for the cause of justice in the face of hatred. I know anger.

I also know injustice. I’m old enough to remember “white only” drinking fountains, “colored” facilities, and being denied your basic rights because others didn’t want you around.

Most importantly, I know love. My Uncle Martin lived his life for the cause of love – love of the truth, love for others, and love for God. That he lived this way upset a great many people. But his response to those who disagreed with him was to peacefully, lovingly speak the truth in return.

I gladly contributed to the “Did You Know?” brochure because it speaks the truth in love. Obviously, it upsets people – any words that contradict the status quo are upsetting. If I had read the brochure decades ago, before I had my two abortions, I might have been angry as well.

But not now.

Now I see millions upon millions of babies who were never given the chance to be born. They died because they were unwanted. I see their deaths not only as a tragedy, but also a great injustice.

I also see millions upon millions of women, women like I once was, in need of healing and forgiveness. I know many women who, like me, have found that peace. We want others to know what we learned by experience. We want this because we care about our sisters and brothers.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. The deaths of over fifty million innocent, unwanted people who were denied their most basic rights simply because of who they were certainly qualify as injustice. The hurt, trauma, and anguish felt by those who grieve for them counts as tragedy.

My Uncle Martin also wrote, “The Negro cannot win if he is willing to sacrifice the futures of his children for immediate personal comfort and safety.” Look around you. For every three African Americans you see, there’s one who’s not here because of abortion. Infinitely valuable, precious children, brothers, and sisters have been sacrificed for immediate personal comfort and safety. I say, in love, we cannot go on this way.

The “Did You Know?” brochure is offered in love to create change. It is meant to offend the perpetrators of injustice, the abortion industry, not its victims. I ask that you consider it, not for me, but for you and your children.

Dr. Alveda King

Dark Abortion-Related Realities in the Black Community Revealed

Thursday, February 17th, 2011

February 17, 2011

Catherine Davis
(678) 894-0445

Atlanta, GA

The recent indictment and arrest of Pennsylvania abortionist Kermit Gosnell shocked many in the black community. In a raid of his facilities police found jars containing the remains of pre-born babies dating back 30 years along with squalid and unsafe conditions. The National Black Prolife Coalition is outraged as more and more abortionists are being exposed for similar unsafe and abusive practices.

Charges against abortionists such as Nicola Riley, Andrew Rutland and James Pendergraft include frightening women into agreeing to unnecessary hysterectomies, botching surgeries, lying to patients, falsifying medical records, over-prescribing painkillers and having sex with patients. One of these abortionists perforated the uterus and pulled out part of a woman’s intestine. Another heads a secret “Fetal Lethal Injection Center” in the Washington, D. C. metro area where late-term abortions are partially completed.

All of these abortionists set up shop in urban areas where blacks reside targeting black women. Stephen Broden of The Fair Park Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas calls for new measures of accountability from black leaders. “Leaders such as Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the NAACP, Urban League, and The Congressional Black Caucus have capitulated to the abortion industry for their personal gain. By their silence or outright support of abortion they encourage these butchers in their targeting of our women and babies for profit.”

“If silence is indeed consent the Congressional Black Caucus and the NAACP have not only consented to Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry’s murder of black babies, but are complicit in the horrific reality of genocide of their own people,” said Walter Hoye of Issues4Life Foundation.

Will Ford of EX Ministries agreed. “The Congressional Black Caucus has a 100% voting record in favor of taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood. This is a travesty in light of Planned Parenthood’s targeting of the black community since its inception as a means of population control.”

“These national black organizations are in partnership with Planned Parenthood, an organization that is not genuinely concerned about the betterment of the black community, said Arnold Culbreath of Protecting Black Life. The atrocities uncovered in the Kermit Gosnell case, as detailed in District Attorney R. Seth Williams’ report, highlight very dark abortion-related realities in the black community. It is time for national outrage and dialog about abortion, the leading cause of death in the African American community.”

Planned Parenthood Corruption Exposed – Webcast Tonight At 8PM EST

Tuesday, February 15th, 2011

Yesterday, people of faith and conscience gathered outside some 200+ Planned Parenthood offices for “Vigils for Victims” of underage human trafficking.

As news stories, pictures, reports, and videos pour in from coast-to-coast, I am in awe of what you have accomplished over these last 24 hours!

Planned Parenthood — the nation’s largest abortion chain — is reeling as its institution-wide scandal continues coming to light, and efforts are ramping up in the U.S. Congress and many state legislatures to strip Planned Parenthood of its $360+ MILLION in annual taxpayer funding.

Our God is an awesome God!

Now, as a next step, I invite you join me on an important LIVE webcast event TONIGHT, Tuesday, February 15, at 9 PM Eastern (8 PM Central, 7 PM Mountain, 6 PM Pacific)

During this one-time-only webcast, you will discover shocking secrets of Planned Parenthood’s pattern of criminal actions … and learn how you can help stop them from destroying the ONE PROSECUTOR who could topple their $1 billion abortion empire!

The prosecutor’s name is PHILL KLINE, former Attorney General of Kansas. Phill is a hero and a friend …and he is Planned Parenthood’s worst nightmare.

Phill is the only prosecutor in United States history to ever get behind the closed doors of Planned Parenthood and gain access to records from inside the abortion chain.

When Phill discovered numerous criminal actions being committed by Planned Parenthood, two District Court Judges reviewed the evidence and “found probable cause” to believe that Planned Parenthood committed 107 crimes, including 23 felonies.

Phill then became the first prosecutor to charge Planned Parenthood with crimes.

If convicted, the abortion giant could lose every penny of its $360+ million in annual taxpayer funding — and its entire business could be jeopardized.

Phill’s case is still on file, but Planned Parenthood — knowing their entire abortion operation was at risk — teamed up with a court appointed by pro-abortion former Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius.

Their scheme: defeat the criminal case by personally destroying Phill Kline.

And they are dead set on doing just that.

For too long, prosecutors have ignored clear evidence of criminal wrongdoing by Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers. Now, when a prosecutor finally does his job, a pro-abortion court places Planned Parenthood above the law and tries to destroy the prosecutor.

Don’t be fooled. This is a direct attempt by Planned Parenthood to buy the rule of law and squelch future prosecution of the crimes that run rampant in the abortion industry … and it must be stopped!

I’m asking you, if at all possible, to listen in and learn the shocking story of the widespread corruption inside Planned Parenthood … discover how this crisis could affect YOUR community … and find out what you can do about it!

Join me and other pro-lifers from across America — and around the globe — on this important webcast …

Eggsploitation – The Truth Revealed

Monday, February 14th, 2011

Treating infertility has become big business, and biotech companies have made an industry out of recruiting young women to donate their eggs. Advertisements frequently appear online, in campus newspapers or the local classifieds. Women are promised big bucks — up to $100,000 — in exchange for this “commodity.” What isn’t well-known, however, are the physical consequences for donors. A shortage of eggs has placed vulnerable women in the path of the stampede to fill the demand.

A new film called Eggsploitation is blowing the whistle on this industry. Produced by the Center for Bioethics and Culture, the expose recently won Best Documentary in the California Film Festival. It’s a well-deserved honor.

The film interviews women who’ve donated eggs and experienced devastating medical problems. While physicians apply a delicate balance of treatments to the infertile woman, egg donors are subjected to aggressive hormone surges in an effort to harvest multiple eggs. These women risk the loss of ovaries, stroke and even brain damage. Their testimonies show devastating impacts on their lives.

But because this marketing of body parts is largely unregulated, there is little to no recourse for women facing health complications. And since agencies are not required to maintain records as in traditional adoptions, children born from these eggs are typically unable to locate biological mothers or receive information relevant to genetic health. Those are small matters to an industry intent on big financial gain. To them, eggs are merchandise, and women the machines creating them.

With deceptive advertising and screening that targets particular ages, races, genetic backgrounds, IQs, and other desirable characteristics, there is great cause for concern. More alarming is what happens after these donated eggs are fertilized. While some embryos are given the chance for life, many are frozen and forgotten, used for research or simply discarded.

It’s my hope Eggsploitation will be a catalyst to educate both women considering donating their eggs and the adoptive parents of these newly-formed tiny lives.

Silent No More To Hold Peaceful Gathering Outside NARAL Luncheon

Wednesday, February 9th, 2011

February 8, 2011

Contact: Dan Matejek
888-735-3448, Ext. 251

As abortion advocates gather Thursday, Feb. 10, in Washington, D.C., to “celebrate” the 1973 Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision that has killed 52 million unborn children, women and men of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign will be there to remind them that every abortion has more than one victim.

For the sixth consecutive year, Silent No More members will greet NARAL supporters outside their annual luncheon at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, located at 2500 Calvert St. NW, holding signs that say “I Regret My Abortion” or “I Regret My Lost Fatherhood.” The pro-life advocates also will be there as people leave the luncheon.

“We feel it’s important to have a presence when they’re celebrating, to show that there’s another side to this” said Nancy Tanner, Silent No More regional coordinator for Northern Virginia. “Many of us are hurt by abortion and regret that decision.”

All pro-lifers are welcome to join the peaceful protest.

The Silent No More Awareness Campaign was co-founded by Janet Morana, executive director of Priests for Life, and Georgette Forney, president of Anglicans for Life.

The campaign’s most visible outreach takes place every year immediately following the March for Life in Washington, D.C., when women and men gather in front of the Supreme Court building to tell the many ways their abortion experiences hurt them — emotionally, physically and spiritually.

“These women and men are tired of having pro-choice advocates pretend to speak for them. They want to tell the world, in their own words, that what is too easily celebrated as a ‘choice’ and a ‘right’ is in fact a painful burden,” said Father Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life.

To speak with Nancy Tanner, contact her at 703-731-2431 or

To speak with Father Pavone, call Daniel Matejek at 888-735-3488, ext. 251, or email

Prayer For Closing Of An Abortion Mill

Tuesday, February 8th, 2011

Father, all life is in Your care.

You have entrusted us to one another,

that we may show our brothers and sisters

the same love You have for us.

We pray, then, for the least among us,

the children in the womb.

Protect them from the violence of abortion.

We pray for those that are scheduled to die at (Name the abortion mill).

Save them from death.

Give new hope to their parents,

that they may turn away from the desperate act of abortion.

Grant conversion to the abortionist and to the staff.

Show us how we are to respond to the bloodshed in our midst,

And lead us to the day when this place of death

Will be transformed into a haven of life.

Guard us with your joy and your peace,

For in You, life is victorious.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
