Father Peter West to become VP for Missions at Human Life International; Msgr. Mike Mannion new Pastoral Consultant for Priests for Life

Date: August 8, 2011

After traveling to all 50 states as associate director of Priests for Life, Father Peter West is ready to take on the world. Effective Sept. 1, Father West will be the Vice President for Missions for Human Life International. The newly created position will involve extensive international travel.

Father West, a native of New Jersey who has been in residence at Immaculate Conception Parish on Staten Island, will move to Front Royal, Va., where HLI has its headquarters.

“I’ll be doing work similar to what we do at Priests for Life,” Father West explained. While he will continue to speak out against abortion and euthanasia, he also will focus on issues like contraception, natural family planning and the defense of traditional marriage.

“My hope is to be a team player,” he said.

After receiving a master’s degree in theology from Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell, Ct., Father West was ordained in 1991 for the Archdiocese of Newark. In April 1998, he started working full-time with Priests for Life. In that capacity he provided training seminars to priests, deacons, and seminarians, preached in hundreds of parishes, presented the pro-life message in schools, spoke at pro-life conventions and banquets, did extensive radio and television programming, led prayer vigils at abortion mills, and took part in meetings with pro-life leaders.

From the very first days of his pro-life ministry, Father West has received a “very positive response” to his message. “People will say, ‘Thank you, Father, we really need to hear that,’ and that was so from the beginning,” he said.

The best thing about life on the road? “Pro-life people are the best people in the world,” he said. “Meeting so many good people all over was a real blessing.”

Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, said, “We congratulate Father West on his new position. He and I have already spoken about the spirit of collaboration we want to exercise between Priests for Life and Human Life International, in the same way that Father Paul Marx and I collaborated when I first became director of Priests for Life in 1993. We will miss Father Peter at the day-to-day operations of Priests for Life, but at the same time, look forward to seeing him at national and international pro-life gatherings.”

The work of Priests for Life is increasingly international as well, particularly in the outreach of Rachel’s Vineyard and the Silent No More Awareness Campaign.

Father Pavone also expressed congratulations to HLI’s new President, Father Shenan Boquet, and to the HLI Board of Directors for all its hard work over the past year in searching for new leadership.

Meanwhile, Priests for Life announced the addition of Monsignor Michael Mannion to its Pastoral Team. A priest of Camden, N.J., Monsignor Mannion is a pioneer in the ministry of post-abortion healing, having trained priests for decades on how to counsel those who have lost children to abortion.

Monsignor Mannion will assist on a part-time basis in the strategic planning, writing, and preaching mission of Priests for Life, along with Father Frank Pavone, Father Denis Wilde, OSA, Father Scott Daniels, OP, Father Victor Salomon, and Father Walter Quinn, OSA.

Planned Parenthood Wants Your Children to Have Sex: It’s Good for Business

Friday, August 5th, 2011

Date: August 5, 2011

Contact: Andre Kim

ATLANTA, Ga. – Dr. Alveda King, director of African-American Outreach for Priests for Life, commented on the recent release of EXCLAIM!, a document published by the International Planned Parenthood Federation and targeted to a young audience.

“Planned Parenthood says EXCLAIM! is a young people’s guide to ‘sexual rights,’ ” Dr. King said. “Or is it just a way for the largest abortion provider in America to drum up more business? I say the latter.

“Planned Parenthood just wants to sexualize Americans and others in the world and now they are letting us know that the agenda is: The younger, the better! It makes sense from their perspective: The more people who are having sex, the more unwanted pregnancies we will have. That means more abortions for Planned Parenthood and that means, more money.”

Dr. King pointed out that Planned Parenthood often has a significant presence in public schools, which many parents might not realize.

“Americans better wake up,” she said. “Parents better wake up. Your children are in danger. They are being targeted by Planned Parenthood for sexual indoctrination. If your child goes to a public school make sure you stay engaged to find out if Planned Parenthood has its foot — or its contraceptives — in the door.”

Silent No More Campaign Member To Be Featured At Summer Of Mercy 2.0

Friday, August 5th, 2011

Date: August 5, 2011

Contact: Andre Kim

GERMANTOWN, MD. – Kelly Stauffer, who underwent a late-term abortion at the age of 14, will be a featured speaker today, Aug. 5, at 7 p.m. as the Summer of Mercy 2.0 continues outside the office of LeRoy Carhart.

Ms. Stauffer is a member of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign, the largest mobilization of men and women who speak out about their abortion experience. In her testimony, she will describe her experience as a young, pregnant teenager whose parents turned to the late-term abortionist George Tiller in Wichita, Kansas, to end her five-month pregnancy.

Her ordeal lasted five days, and immediately after the abortion, she said during an earlier protest outside Carhart’s office, “I knew I had killed my own child.” A downward spiral followed, with countless visits to therapists and prescriptions for anti-depressants that did not help. Ten years after the abortion, she found a therapist who diagnosed the source of her pain and recommended she attend a Rachel’s Vineyard retreat to find healing.

Now 29, married and the mother of a toddler, Ms. Stauffer said her abortion experience “still hurts.”

“Many defend legal abortion using the slogan ‘freedom of choice,’ ” said Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life and pastoral director of Rachel’s Vineyard and of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign. “The irony of course is that women seeking abortions do not do so because of freedom of choice. They do so precisely because they feel they have no freedom and no choice. Kelly Stauffer’s story is a poignant example of that.”

Father Pavone, who delivered the keynote address on the opening night of the Summer of Mercy 2.0, urged anyone who is able to attend the remaining days of the rally to make plans to do so. Carhart closed his office this week to avoid the protests, and organizers are hoping to keep the abortion mill shut for another week at least. Large turnouts over the weekend can help make that a reality.

Summer of Mercy 2.0 participants gather outside Carhart’s clinic at 8 a.m., noon and 7 p.m. for formal prayer and worship, and to hear from nationally known speakers. Smaller groups maintain vigil throughout the day.

“We are really encouraged by the participation from the local churches. Men and women who have never stood outside an abortion clinic before are bringing their families to the streets to stand for life,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman, a key organizer of the event. “It is great to see so many new people being brought into the movement and activated.”

-Planned Parenthood Wants Your Children to Have Sex – They Say, “It’s Their Right”

Thursday, August 4th, 2011

Planned Parenthood’s latest publication EXCLAIM! is, as claimed by them, a young people’s guide to ‘Sexual Rights: an IPPF declaration’ (International Planned Parenthood Federation). Or is it just a way for the largest abortion provider in America to drum up more business? I say the latter.

Planned Parenthood does so many despicable and disturbing things that I’m finding it hard to know where to begin: the lies, the deception, the killing of innocent life, the abetting of sex traffickers, the fraudulent overbilling, the concealment of statutory rape, and the disregard for parental consent to name a few.

This latest publication, Exclaim, pretty much wraps it all up. You see, Planned Parenthood has a philosophy, or as they put it, ‘principles’. These principles guide everything they do as stated in the publication. They further explain that their principles are like the roots of a tree that feeds the tree and all the branches are all working towards a similar goal. So what are these principles?

1. Sexuality is an integral part of being human for all young people.
2. Sexuality and sexual pleasure are important for all young people, irrespective of reproductive desires.
3. The evolving capacities of children and young people must be recognized.

Given these three principles, it’s clear why Planned Parenthood doesn’t report statutory rape; they believe that the underage children have the sexual right to engage in sex at their young age, it’s their decision (human right #2, The right to participate [in decisions that affect them]). It’s also clear why they are against parental notification (human right #4, The right to privacy)

What’s not so clear is why they stand up for the rights of some but not all. In the publication they state (human right #3, the right to life and to be free from harm) that “[e]veryone has the right to life, liberty and to be free from harm.” It makes me wonder if they know that they are harming the babies they kill during an abortion and that they are harming the women that are having abortions?

This publication is full of contradictions, as Kristan Hawkins points out in her article, “The irony is this document is clear: IPPF states it believes that sexual rights are essential human rights to all, yet does not believe that all human beings deserve the right to born.”

Amanda Pawloski also states in a separate article, “The guide also contains some self-contradictions. It cites the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Article 5 that states, “Parties shall respect the responsibilities, rights and duties of parents.” However, the guide insists that parents and the State are legally responsible for promoting a worldview and values that are held distinctively by IPPF. The guide demands liberalized abortion, self-identified (rather than biological) gender on identification papers, unrestricted access to contraceptives, and various other contentious claims.”

I think that Planned Parenthood does and says whatever it wants as long as it advances their agenda and their profits. Besides, so many Americans aren’t even paying attention. How else could they continue to make millions in profits with all the negative information about their practices and lies.

For those who aren’t convinced, let’s recap:

1. Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards said they do mammograms when in fact most do not.

2. Planned Parenthood was caught covering up child sex trafficking.

3. Pro-aborts lie, saying that if not for Planned Parenthood, poor women wouldn’t be able to access medical care.

4. Planned Parenthood was caught accepting a donation specifically for the abortion of a Black baby.

5. Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger, a racist and eugenicist. (Link 2)(Link 3)

6. 78% of Planned Parenthood’s abortion facilities are located in minority neighborhoods.

A little research on the part of those wanting to educate themselves will yield much more information that Planned Parenthood doesn’t want you to know about (see Maafa21 and Bloodmoney).

Planned Parenthood just wants to sexualize Americans and others in the world and now they are
letting us know that the agenda is the younger, the better. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The more people who are having sex, the more unwanted pregnancies we will have. It’s a fact. All contraceptives have a failure rate; some are higher than other yet they all can fail. Planned Parenthood has done the math. If a certain contraceptive has a 10% failure rate and 100 people are having sex then you have 10 potential people who may want to have an abortion. Make it 1000 people having sex and the number jumps to 100 possible abortions, etc…

And for Planned Parenthood, the earlier they start to have sex, the better for this is good for business; they can market more contraceptives and abortions. As Kristan said, “A second glance at this stomach-churning document sheds a little more light into their model. Page 9 proudly declares that young people have an “evolving [sexual] capacity.” While this may explain why IPPF has chosen to litter this document with pictures of young children, some who look as young as 9 or 10 years old, it is still pretty shocking considering the world-wide epidemic of child-age sex slavery.”

And nobody is immune to their tactics. “Last year, the Girl Scouts became embroiled in controversy when another IPPF sex guide, called “Healthy, Happy, and Hot” was distributed at their side-event during the Commission on the Status of Women. The sex guide, targeted at youth living with HIV/AIDS, promotes masturbation, sex under the influence of drugs and alcohol, as well as not-disclosing one’s HIV/AIDS status to one’s partner.” writes Amanda.

Americans better wake up. Parents better wake up. Your children are in danger. They are being targeted by Planned Parenthood for sexual indoctrination. If your child goes to a public school make sure you stay engaged to find out if Planned Parenthood has their foot (or contraceptives) in the door.

“The State of the Quality of Life in the 21st Century”: A Candid Discussion in Context of the Dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011

By Dr. Alveda C. King

“Don’t worry about what you will eat or drink or wear. The people of the world seek all these things. Your Heavenly Father already knows that you too need all these things. But seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, and all these (other) things will be provided for you as well.” Matthew 6:31-33

On August 28, 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream. On August 28, 2011 the world will remember Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the dedication of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial on the Mall in Washington, DC. As we prepare to remember the contributions of Dr. King at this historical dedication, let us also consider “The State of the Quality of Life in the 21st Century” as we prepare to have “A Candid Discussion in Context of the Dream of Dr. King”

In the early 1970s, I wrote a song: “Let freedom ring, let freedom ring, and thank God that King had a dream.” The dedication ceremony will be at 11:00 on Sunday morning, the hour when many Christians across the nation will be in traditional church services, praising God. Even though I will be standing on the Mall in DC, before a statue of my uncle, Dr. King, I too will be giving thanks and praises to God.

In 2 Chronicles 28: 19-25, the BIBLE says King Ahaz had destroyed the spiritual fiber of his nation, which led to a spiritual collapse in his personal life. (Living Bible Translation-1971). Other translations say that he rebelled against God, did not obey God, etc. But the LBT version says King Ahaz destroyed the spiritual fiber of his nation, Judah, and as a result had a spiritual collapse.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. often spoke of spiritual and moral turpitude. I believe that if Dr. King were here today, he would warn us that America is on the verge of a spiritual collapse due to the attacks on the spiritual fiber or fabric of this blessed land.

Attacks like abortion; euthanasia; human trafficking; attempts to dismantle the God model of procreative marriage and the family; the incarceration of our children; the secular humanism influence over our education; the waste and greed that hover over our economy; the attempts to redefine the purity and beauty of human sexuality; the reimaging of everything that is life affirming in the media; the sickness and diseases that are consequences of our irresponsible and sinful choices; these attacks are surely bringing us to a potential state of spiritual collapse.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has often been called “The Black Moses.” We would do well to remember that Moses went to the mountaintop, yet did not go to the other side. Dr. King went to his mountaintop as well. There is one major difference in how God dealt with these two men at the end of their lives. God hid Moses’ body at the time of his death. It is written that the Angel Michael who was on guard over Moses’ body resisted Satan with these words: Satan, “the Lord rebuke you! (Jude 1:9)”

While God did not hide Martin’s body, there has been much cause to sometimes wish that God had hidden the body of the modern day prophet MLK. If Dr. King’s body had been hidden, people would never have been tempted to idolize and lionize the man of God. So hopefully we will receive the invitation not to idolize Dr. King in the coming days, but to rather remember his love for Jesus Christ, and his devotion and love for all humanity.

We started this message with the passage from Matthew 6: “Seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness and all else that we need will be provided for us by God.” Dr. King humbled himself before God; he became increasingly God dependent. Even Dr. King’s search for the “Beloved Community” was really part of his search for The Kingdom of God. God’s Kingdom is founded on Agape Love, for it is truly written that “God is Love.”

So in conclusion, let us consider this, the best way to honor and remember a man or woman of God is to practice Agape Love towards each other. So let August 28, 2011, and really every day, be a day of brotherly and sisterly love.

And finally and truly, if we wish to honor Dr. King, we would do well to remember that 21st Century America is in a state of need of repentance and revival. We would do well to remember Dr. King’s dream. We would do best to honor his God.

And So the Culture of Death Expands: Does Anyone Fear Judgment

Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011

Once again the culture of life takes a hit as Health and Human Services announces that they will now be aiding in the destruction of human life. The new rules, while seeming to be well intended, requiring private insurance companies to cover the costs of contraceptives and other women preventive services will further Satan’s cause. I say “, while seeming to be well intended” because I’m not altogether sure that all those aiding the abortion industry in their quest to destroy life aren’t just as committed to the culture of death.

In a recent blog I expressed my concerns that HHS would cover contraceptives that were also abortifacient (cause abortions) in nature. And just as I suspected, they have done just that. Since human life begins at the moment of conception, any contraceptive drug or device that prevents that life to secure itself to the uterus is in fact causing the abortion of that life. Some even attack the baby after he/she has attached itself to the uterus. Read my blog on ella, the new Plan B type drug.

When are people going to wake up to the lies of Satan being spread by so many of his disciples, i.e. Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers? Abortion is a lucrative business for these abortionists and they are doing business with the devil in exchange for riches and power. The abortion industry is a demonic as I wrote in a blog in September 2010. This is nothing new and the pro-life movement has been shouting it from the rooftops and we will continue to do so until enough people see the truth and we end abortion in this country and around the world.

Our God is a loving God but make no mistake about it, He will judge us on judgment day. One day we will all have to stand before Him and our lives, whether we protected or destroyed life, will be before Him and he will pass judgment. It can be a glorious day or a dreadful day for us; the choice is ours.

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live” Deuteronomy 30:19

Priests for Life Mourns the Passing of Rev. Howard Creecy

Monday, August 1st, 2011

Rev. Howard Creecy

Dr. Alveda C. King, Director of African American Outreach for Priests for Life, today mourned the passing of the Rev. Howard Creecy Jr., president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.

“Howard will be sorely missed. He was a man of integrity and deep compassion,” said Dr. King.

Rev. Creecy, 57, died Thursday, July 28, at his Atlanta home. The cause of death has not yet been determined.

He was elected to lead the SCLC in January, when Bernice King, the daughter of SCLC co-founder Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., declined the position. A third-generation preacher, he also was the senior pastor of Olivet Church in Fayette, Ga.

When he assumed the SCLC post, Rev. Creecy acknowledged that internal divisions had troubled the 54-year-old organization in recent years. His goal was to get past those divisions and move the organization forward with a clearly defined mission.

SCLC spokesman Maynard Eaton told Reuters that Rev. Creecy “saved this organization. It was on the brink of disaster. He became this organization’s lifeline with his charisma and his preacher passion.”

Dr. King was looking forward to working with Rev. Creecy to raise awareness of the devastating impact of abortion on the African-American community.

“Howard and I spoke just a few weeks ago at a women’s conference honoring both our mothers. He stopped me in the hallway and said, ‘Alveda, we should meet soon. I am with you in the fight for life.’ He went on to say that he had attended a pro-life prayer meeting with Dr. Billy Graham, and had also participated in Operation Rescue pro-life rallies.”

Isaac Newton Farris Jr., a nephew of Martin Luther King Jr., has been named interim president, the organization said.

Rev. Creecy is survived by his wife, Yolanda Grier Creecy, and two children. The funeral will be Saturday at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in Atlanta.

Response to Circulating Email: Arrogance of Being President While Being Black.

Monday, August 1st, 2011

(Read original email below.)

Dear Fellow Americans, this mail is in response to an email titled Arrogance of being President while being Black. I am an African American woman. I am also the daughter of Rev. A. D. King ( I also am a part of what the Arrogance e-mail refers to as the Neanderthal “Far Right.” By the way, I do not feel as though I am about to vomit when I say Mr. President or President Obama. He is the President. As a free and independent thinker, I am very glad that America is still a land where we can vote as we feel led. I do agree that the office of the President is due respect. I call Mr. Obama President Obama always. Period. Even in my prayers. While I do not generally agree with many of his policy decisions, especially in areas of the civil rights of babies in the womb for instance, I love him and his family, and pray for them often, just as I would for Herman Cain if he was elected as President. It’s not the color of his skin but the content of his character and policies that I’m concerned about. You are right, he is the President of the United States. Romans Chapter 13 teaches us that all governmental authority is ordained of God. No President or elected official can rise to be elected to office if God does not allow it. We are also taught in the Bible to pray for those in authority so that we can live peaceful lives. America has been under the hand of God’s judgment for at least two Presidential administrations. That is the administration of President George W. Bush and now President Barack Hussein Obama. What are we going to do about it? Interestingly enough, many African Americans have hated President Bush, yet become very offended when people challenge the policies of President Obama. Some even dare to suggest that God loves President Obama more than he loves President Bush, or that God hates President Bush, or vice versa. Ladies and gentlemen, I dare to suggest that God loves us all very much, including our President. Let us trust God rather than human flesh. I invite you to visit this website:

Arrogance of being President while being Black

I don’t think anyone was under some real illusion that the election of Barack Obama actually means the end of racism in America . I’m pretty sure that the president-elect knew it better than anyone. After all, he saw it every day, from the moment he announced his candidacy. To some degree, he saw it within his own party during the primaries. And he saw it in all ugliness during the general election. For half of this country, he was “That One”. No matter how big and clear his victory was. No matter how smart he is. No matter how decent he is. No matter what a true patriot he is. No matter how optimistic and positive his vision for America was. All that didn’t matter. Because at the end of the day, he was still black.

I’m quite old. I remember, vaguely, where my parents were on November 22, 1963. I’ve seen so many presidents. Some were feared, some were hated, some were adored, some popular and some not. But all of them, without exception, were treated with the highest respect deserving the office of the president of the United States .

That is until a black man won the right to occupy this office. It’s been 13 months now, and in the eyes of so many, Barack Obama is still that one. He is being disrespected and at the same time being held to the highest standard of any president I’ve ever seen – and not just by the Republican side! He has to perform three times better than any president in history, and even that may not be enough.

For the media, he is many more times just “Obama” than “President Obama”. They create scandals out of nothing issues. It took them at least 6 years to start giving Bush a small part of the crap he deserved. It took them 6 months to begin crap all over Obama because he’s yet to fix the catastrophe that was left for him.

They use condescending tones when they talk about him, and only mildly less condescending when they talk TO him. With anyone else, CNN wouldn’t dare go to commercials every time the president speaks, like they did during that summit on Thursday. They wouldn’t dare be counting how many minutes George Bush or Bill Clinton were talking. Chris Mathews wouldn’t dare make an issue out of Ronald Regan calling members of congress by their first name, like he is not actually the president. They fully cooperate with the Right-Wing smear machine when it comes to president Obama’s national security performance – even if almost every independent and military expert actually thinks that he’s a terrific Commander-in-Chief. You’ll never see them on TV, and virtually no one from the Left, in congress and outside, defend the president on this matter.

I don’t care about the Far-Right. They’re just crazy ignorant Neanderthals. It’s the way the beltway and the mainstream treats this president that is shocking. On Thursday, almost every Republican had no trouble interrupting him in the middle of a sentence. They looked like they’re going to vomit every time they had to say “Mr. president”. They all had this Eric-Cantor-Smirk whenever he spoke. Then they went out and started to spit their stupid talking points, to the delight of the media. Sarah Palin, a woman who can hardly read, thinks that he was “arrogant” towards John McCain, and somehow this is an important news. Because you see, “Obama’s Arrogance” is the talking point of the day.

Oh, those talking points. He is arrogant (because he knows the facts better than all of them combined). He is an elitist (because he uses big words that they don’t understand). He is weak on national security (because he actually thinks about the consequences). He divides the country (well, he did that the day he had the audacity to win the election). Worst of all, he actually thinks that he’s the president. He even dared to say so on Thursday. How arrogant of him. You’d think that previous presidents didn’t have any ego. Somehow it turned out that the one president who treats even his biggest opponents with the utmost respect – is the arrogant one. I wonder why?

I expected that his winning the Presidency would bring out some ugliness, but it’s been far worse than I imagined. The racism coming from the Right is obviously clear and shameless, but there’s also some hidden and maybe subconscious and disturbing underline tone behind some of the things that I read here and throughout the Left blogosphere, even before the end of Obama’s first year – ‘He’s weak, he’s spineless, he’s got no balls, primary him in 2012’. It’ll be dishonest to deny that.

The fact is that for millions in America, Barack Obama is this uppity black man (Not even a “real” black), who received good education only due to affirmative action, and has no right to litter the sacred Oval Office with his skin color. They just can’t accept the fact that the president is a black man, who unlike his predecessor, was actually legally elected. But what’s really sad is that it’s not just the fringe, its deep deep in mainstream America .

Barack Obama’s ability to remain above all this slob, to keep his optimism and his strange and mostly unjustified faith in people, while continuing to gracefully deal with an endless crapstorm – is one of the most inspiring displays of human quality I have ever seen. And I can only hope that the Cosmos is on his side because God is and He never makes a mistake.

Sometimes, they make me feel ashamed to be a white man!!

Father Frank Pavone: Mobilize Those Who Oppose Late-term Abortion

Monday, August 1st, 2011

Date: August 1, 2011

Contact: Andre Kim

GERMANTOWN, MD. — In a keynote address Saturday, July 30, that opened the Summer of Mercy 2.0, Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, said the nine-day protest outside the office of late-term abortionist Leroy Carhart will “put a spotlight on the type of abortion most people oppose.”

Speaking to several hundred people at Covenant Life Church, Father Pavone said poll after poll show the majority of Americans oppose abortion beyond the first trimester.

“Most people – even those who call themselves ‘pro-choice’ — are closer to our position than to that of Carhart,” he said. “But who is mobilizing those who would oppose what Carhart is doing? No one. We need to focus the attention of Americans to the reality of what Carhart does.”

Father Pavone distributed literature with quotes from late-term abortionists that leave no doubt about the nature of the brutal procedure, and urged those fighting abortion to do so using the words of the abortionists themselves as found in medical textbooks and court testimony.

Father Pavone also called for prayers for Carhart, so he will realize himself that what he is doing is wrong, the way the late Bernard Nathanson was converted to the pro-life cause.

“Let us pray and work that the day will come when Leroy Carhart will be the next Bernard Nathanson,” he said. “This week is going to make history in the pro-life movement.”

In the attached photo, Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, greets Father Francis Martin, the founder of Father Francis Martin Ministries, at Covenant Life Church, Gaithersburg, Md, for the kick-off of the Summer of Mercy 2.0.
