Not Safe, Moral or Rare

Tonya_Maria

www.safeandlegal.com lists names of women who are known to be dead by abortion. Add to that list thousands of women whose abortion complications were covered and you will begin to see the tip of the iceberg melt into a quagmire of gigantic proportions.

As a post abortive African American Woman, I can attest that abortion kills babies and harms and even sometimes kills their mothers. I bear the harmful fruit of my own abortions in my own body in the form of phlebitis and other lingering health problems from the abortion surgeries and subsequent abortion drugs called contraceptives also meted out to me by Planned Parenthood during my childbearing years. Read my complete testimony at www.silentnomoreawareness.org.

Planned Parenthood lied to me about abortion. They said abortion is safe. It isn’t. Ask Tonya Reaves. Of course you really can’t talk to her now because her Planned Parenthood abortion killed her and her baby. Her name is in the safe and legal site, along with graphic photos of Marla Cardomone’s autopsy. WARNING – death by abortion isn’t pretty. Marla was a beautiful Caucasian woman, Tonya a beautiful Black woman. Both and many more are DBA.

Planned Parenthood, who also disproportionally targets Black women for abortions with deceptive marketing tactics, is still lying today. Abortion and its related accouterments is not safe, moral, or rare. It’s just legal, legal reproductive genocide. And yet PPH received over $500 Million in US tax dollars last year. Figure that.

Nearly 55 million babies, nearly 20 million of which are African Americans, have been slaughtered by abortion since the landmine Roe vs Wade decision 40 years ago. Count one of my abortions in that number. And the one before that, a legal though barbaric local non-anesthesia DNC which was really an abortion.

The root of abortion is deeper and older than one would think. It’s source stems from slavery as evidenced in the rivalries between the slaves and free. Dr. Karen Stevenson writes in her noted Utrum research paper that on the surface, “It seems that abortion, like all methods of birth control, benefits African-American women because it allows them to exercise their right of autonomy over their own bodies. The fight for legalized abortion as a means of birth control entered the scene later in the fight for women to control their reproductive rights, but abortion itself has always been a “necessary evil” lurking in the background of women’s lives. The issue of reproductive rights has had long lasting roots among African-American women since the era of chattel slavery in this nation. The history of slavery and racism in American culture are crucial to any discussion about black women and choice.”

In studying Dr. Stevenson’s findings we discover a connection between slave women and their master’s wives who were also considered to be chattels in the early and not so pristine history of our great nation. For example, the often revered Thomas Jefferson owned slaves and his caucasian wife and black slave mistress Sally Hemmings were half sisters, sired by the same father.

Such liaisons caused enmity between the Caucasian women and their slaves, wherein the slaves often either chose to abort their mulatto babies to prevent them being born into slavery or they were coerced into abortion or sometimes cruelly forced to abort by jealous wives of slave masters.

Slave mothers were sometimes forced to abandon their own hungry wailing babies to go to the “big house” to breast feed “Massa’s” babies. This often created an aversion to breast feeding in Black women that remains inherent today in many instances. And herein we discover the link between abortion, contraceptives and breast cancer.

So the frustrated slave women often aborted their babies (Pure Breed and Mulatto) voluntarily as an act against sustaining future oppression. The Angry Caucasian Wives often coerced or forced abortion and/or sterilization on their husband’s “Black Beauties” as a means of retaliation against their own brand of experienced oppression.

While many good hearted people like Susan B. Anthony were abolitionists and supported women’s rights; at the same time there were many women who were abolitionists that ended up becoming women rights activists whose bitterness caused them to adopt a deceptive contraceptives and finally an abortion “choice” agenda to exercise what they considered to be rights over their wombs. So now we have a war on babies and the wombs of women often led by women and men controlled by a desire for revenge and avarice.

Abortion kills babies and hurts women which is why I recommend that you read Janet Morana’s book RECALL ABORTION.

Friends, we are dealing with a Three Headed Monster in America – Racism, Reproductive Genocide and Sexual Immorality. My uncle Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. once gave a sermon “Rediscovering Lost Values.” We need to slay the three headed beast and revalue life.

Only then can we began to truly see justice roll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream. I invite you to read our book LIFE AT ALL COSTS to receive further enlightenment on these issues, including how Jesus healed my abortion pain.

Remembering the Dreamer

MLK and his Bible

But let judgment roll down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. Amos 5:24 ERV

Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. quoted this powerful scripture in his famous I HAVE A DREAM speech. He believed God’s Word. He took his Bible, the one President Obama will place his hand upon next week, very seriously; so seriously that he repeatedly risked his life to proclaim its message of love for God and love for neighbor.

Uncle M.L., like everyone, was far from perfect, but he loved the Lord. It was God’s Word that he used to unite a movement and change our nation.

Uncle M.L. was born on January 15, 1929. In remembering him today, I can tell you that he was a kind and gentle man who was used as a strong prophet of God.

Many people called him the “Black Moses,” and the “Modern Day Apostle of Love.” He was a Baptist preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ who was also called to lead the 20th Century Civil Rights Movement.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. loved Jesus and preached his Word. His sermons such as Rediscovering Lost Values and The Death of Evil on the Seashore reflect his devotion to the Lord and his obedience to God’s call. The themes of his teachings are strongly reflective of the need of God’s love, human repentance and forgiveness.

Dr. King was a family man. As one whose bloodline includes ancestors who were not only powerful Gospel preachers, but ex-slaves, Irish sharecroppers, educators, musicians, entrepreneurs and civil rights leaders, we can understand and appreciate how God called Dr. King as a modern day Moses and gave him a prophetic DREAM to help to set the captives free.

He and my father, Rev. A. D. King, are brothers, fallen soldiers of the 20th Century Civil Rights Movement who now reside in Heaven. Many people don’t even know that Martin had a brother and a sister. He was a beloved uncle and family member.

The year 2013 will mark several significant landmark anniversaries including 150 years since the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation, 100 years since the formation of the Federal Reserve System, 50 years since the MLK ‘I HAVE A DREAM SPEECH’, and the 40th year landmine Supreme Court Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion in America. This will surely be a year of transition and there is a need for a deep spiritual awakening. In fact it’s time for America to wake up before the dream becomes a nightmare.

Thank God that Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream. Happy Birthday Uncle M. L.

People Weild Guns, Jesus Heals

Monday, January 14th, 2013

Peter Cuts Ear OffThen Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.) Jesus commanded Peter, “Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?” – John 18:10-11

We live in a fallen world, a seemingly nonsensical world.

It’s a world where people hold inviolate a “constitutional right” that doesn’t appear in the Constitution in order to permit abortion violence, yet are ready to trample upon a right that explicitly appears in the Constitution in order to try to stop gun violence.

There is no conceivable gun control law that could have stopped the horror of Sandy Hook – at least nothing short of confiscation. And confiscation would involve the government entering people’s homes without permission – a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment’s bar against unreasonable searches and seizures, not to mention the Second Amendment’s right to bear arms.

Still, people want to “do something.” I would suggest that we’re looking in the wrong place when we look at guns.

I know the horror of violence. Like many, I have lived through its trauma. I lost my uncle and grandmother to gun violence. But I also lost my father under suspicious circumstances that had nothing to do with guns. I lost childhood playmates not to guns, but to a bomb. My own house in Birmingham, in fact, was firebombed while I was in it 50 years ago.

Life has taught me that anger and hate are not constrained by taking away a weapon. The civil rights era proved that baseball bats, lead pipes, and ropes are lethal when in the hands of evil men. Terrorists have proven that fertilizer, nails, and airplanes kill more effectively than guns. The weapon is not the problem. The problem is inside the human being who wants to kill.

In the Garden of Gethsemane, as Jesus was being seized by Roman soldiers and officers of the Pharisees, Peter took his sword and cut off the ear of Malchus, a slave of the high priest. Jesus answered this violence by rebuking Peter and healing Malchus’s ear.

Jesus didn’t take away Peter’s sword, He healed.

Today, He still heals.

We will not end violence by trying to take away guns. We will not end violence by trying to demonize guns. We will not end violence because human beings are selfish, unloving, fearful, fallen creatures who will find ways to strike out against others.

The problem is us.

The answer is Him.

Christ’s agape love – selfless love for others – is not only what stops violence, it’s what builds relationships. It’s what strengthens communities. It’s what makes people who think that they’re different and alone realize that we’re the same and not alone.

Politics and legislation are good for solving problems, but not all problems. If our leaders really want to create a society where gun violence – and, for that matter, knife violence, bomb violence, and every other kind of violence – is reduced if not eliminated, they will stop trying to remove God from every sphere of public influence. They should stop trying to hinder the expression and practice of faith and allow the one thing that will bring true healing – God’s love.

Black Jesus“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” – Matthew 11:28-30

Many times we talk to God. broken and despairing. We can sometimes feel that we are so unlovable that even God will not receive us. Beloved, this is not true. He is waiting with open arms. Seek His healing and forgiveness. I did.

NAACP Forsakes Tonya Reaves and Natural Marriage, Favors Reproductive Genocide

Thursday, January 10th, 2013

SPACER
NAACP NOIn the wake of seemingly endless moral debacles such as Planned Parenthood’s slaughter of Tonya Reaves, a young Chicago mother, and Washington’s almost manic stronghold tactics to weaken natural marriage, thousands of African Americans are outraged by the NAACP’s support of abortion and homosexual marriage.

NAACP protests demanding that they support reproductive justice and natural law are mounting. Hundreds of NAACP members have already burned their membership cards in protest of NAACP’s stance on various issues like gay-marriage and their support of and alliance with Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in America who is responsible for the charge towards the reproductive genocide of Blacks.

This year we shudder to recall the pain and suffering of the millions of mothers and our dead babies after 40 years of the landmine decision of Roe vs. Wade which made abortion legal in the United States in all nine months of pregnancy. My Great Grandfather, Dr. Adam Daniel Williams pastored Ebenezer Baptist Church for over 25 years and was a founding member of the Georgia NAACP. He and his successors; my Granddaddy M. L. King, Sr., Uncle M. L. King, Jr., and my father A. D. King, Sr. all taught and embraced biblical governance. This means that historically and currently the “King Family Legacy” embraces natural law.

Our bloodline embraces the teachings of Jesus Christ, outlined in the Holy Bible. The Bible is clear on the tenants of natural life, natural marriage and family. The NAACP’s departure from the wisdom and life affirming principles of the Bible is very alarming, and must be confronted to ensure the safety, security and future of our children.

In their book LIFE AT ALL COSTS, I and other Black leaders point out that the NAACP has done little in the recent past to protect and advance the reproductive continuity of Black people in America, and less to support women by offering healthy pregnancy options including pregnancy support groups and adoption.

“In fact, their alliances with Planned Parenthood and the anti-natural marriage lobby helps to ensure that the numbers of African American births continue to be curtailed,” the leaders say.

America is under attack by a three-headed monster, racism, reproductive genocide, and sexual perversion. This monster is destroying America from within. America needs to repent for not shunning the sins of our forefathers.

We need to forgive and receive forgiveness for the harmful, hurtful influences of slavery and subsequent ties to sexism and racism. We need the blood of Jesus to cleanse us and the full armor of God to protect us. I am a spokesperson for the SILENT NO MORE AWARENESS CAMPAIGN; and have received forgiveness and healing for my own abortions.

The NAACP needs to return back to their roots and start fighting for biblical values before they become obsolete. It’s been 150 years since Emancipation was penned. Babies are still not free. Wake up NAACP.

“Safe & Legal” Project Highlights Abortion’s Danger to Women

Wednesday, January 9th, 2013

Priests for Life

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Date: January 9, 2013

In 1996, then-President Bill Clinton famously said he would like to see abortion “safe, legal and rare.” Seventeen years later, abortion remains legal. It kills more than a million unborn babies a year, so it is certainly not rare. And as a new project called “Safe & Legal” demonstrates, abortion is not safe for women.

“We are bringing graphic visuals to the truth that abortion harms women,” explains Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, which is co-sponsoring this project along with Operation Rescue and Life Dynamics (the group which initiated it).

A new brochure, entitled “Safe and Legal,” shows a beautiful photo of Marla Cardamone, and then her horrific autopsy photos following her death by “safe and legal abortion” at a respected hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

“I am grateful to Marla’s mom, Deborah, and her husband for their full support of this project and their permission to use these photos,” said Fr. Pavone. “As they know, this project isn’t just about Marla; it’s about the countless women Marla represents, who are killed by abortion without the world ever knowing.”

This past July, Priests for Life and its Director of African-American Outreach, Alveda King, helped bring attention to a young mother, Tonya Reaves, who was killed after a botched second-trimester abortion in Chicago.

“The utter failure of the abortionist to get help for Tonya after she developed complications constitutes nothing less than murder,” Fr. Pavone explained.

The case of Tonya, and many others, will be highlighted along with that of Marla on the special website, SafeAndLegal.com that has been developed for this project.

The brochure about Marla will be distributed widely by Priests for Life and others at this year’s March for Life. Moreover, also at the March, Priests for Life will release Executive Director Janet Morana’s new book, Recall Abortion, which makes the case that abortion is a failed product that should be recalled by the government just as other harmful products have been recalled. This book, along with the annual gathering of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign, which Janet co-founded, will reinforce the same message about how abortion harms women.

“We ask everyone to get involved and to spread the truth about Marla and others killed and wounded by abortion,” said Fr. Frank. “As Deborah Cardamone has said often, we have to speak, because if we are silent, we are part of the problem.”

For more info, and for audio and video format of this press release, visit Priestsforlife.org/Marla.

Big Tax Bucks Linked to Abortion Deaths Glaring in the Light of the Tonya Reaves Lawsuits

Tuesday, January 8th, 2013

130108 blog image

Last summer, the National Black Prolife Coalition was among the first and most outraged groups to demand justice for the death of Tonya Reaves, a young Black woman killed by abortion in Chicago. For years, women who have been harmed by abortion have been crying out that “abortion hurts women!” Janet Morana is right to lead the crusade to RECALL ABORTION. As we somberly yet purposefully approach the 40 year landmine of the anniversary of Roe VS Wade, let us make no mistake about it. We are ready to continue this battle for LIFE AT ALL COSTS.

Yesterday Operation Rescue wrote an article stating that a second lawsuit had been filed against Planned Parenthood in the death of Tonya Reaves. Again, Tonya Reaves was a 24 year-old woman who went to Planned Parenthood for an abortion which they botched. She was then left bleeding for five hours before an ambulance was called. She was rushed to the hospital where they discovered that the abortion performed by Planned Parenthood was incomplete and she had to undergo another abortion in the hospital to remove the remainder of the baby. But it was too late and Tonya Reaves died later that evening in the hospital.

The first wrongful death lawsuit against Planned Parenthood was filed by Tonya’s family. The second lawsuit was filed on behalf of Tonya’s surviving son, Alvin, by his father. Tonya and her baby died, leaving young Alvin motherless.

Some people will not understand that along with the injustice of Planned Parenthood killing Tonya, another injustice occurred. They killed her baby in her womb as well. So how do we express to Tonya’s family in a loving way that two people died that day?

Because of lack of coverage by much of the media, not too many people are even aware of Tonya’s murder. And despite efforts by the National Black Prolife Coalition through press releases to hold Planned Parenthood accountable, there seems to be an unusual amount of stall tactics where justice should prevail. One can’t help but remember the onslaught of outrage during the Trayon Martin tragedy? Where are all of those outraged Black leaders who were demanding swift justice for the tragic slaying of Trayvon?

Not only are the leaders of the NAACP and other Black voices such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson lacking in conversation surrounding the unjust death of Tonya. Absent also is the outrage over the death of Tonya’s baby and the other 3,699 babies that were killed that day in abortion mills throughout this country. And all the while, Planned Parenthood keeps laughing on the way to the bank while killing hundreds of thousands of babies every year, to the tune of over 50 million dead babies on record since 1973. What’s even worse is that where before 2012, Planned Parenthood was receiving $1 million dollars a day in U. S. tax dollars, yes, around $365 million dollars a year; in 2012 they received over $500 million dollars from our tax coffers. And they are still operating poorly regulated killing centers around this country. And in a few days, people will be observe the 40th commemoration of legal baby slaughter in America.

Yes, abortion is legal; but it shouldn’t be. Abortion is not civil. Abortion is not moral. Abortion hurts women, kills babies, and even kills women like Tonya and the countless others who have died from abortion and/or subsequent complications over the years. Coat hangers are the excuse they hang over the head of the dead babies and maimed women. But as is explained by recording artist Fred Hammond, many women never used a coat hanger even when abortion was illegal. They just had a “medical procedure” called a D&C for a “mysterious female ailment” which was really a baby in the mother’s/patient’s womb.

The abortion industry began saying that they wanted to make abortion legal, safe, and rare. They have successes in one, legal. Safe, not so. Ask Tonya. Rare? Is 54+ million rare?

As for rare, Planned Parenthood’s annual report just released for FY 2011-2012 (calendar year 2011) shows that abortions are not rare with a record number of abortions in 2011 with 333,964. Over the last three years (2009-2011) Planned Parenthood has performed nearly one million abortions (995,687)

As for safe, well, I think we’ve covered that. I would just like to mention that there have been over 345 reported deaths linked directly botched abortions. And that’s just the ones that we know of that have been attributed to the abortions and are documented. Many other deaths are attributed to other causes but are actually a result of abortion complications.

This outrage bears repeating over and over – despite the government’s saying that they do not pay for abortions, Planned Parenthood received a record $542 million in taxpayer funding last year. They can spin it any way they want to, but our tax dollars are funding murder by abortion and not just for babies. Their mothers are dying too. Women are being lied to; told that abortions are safe and are a civil right. And our babies are dying.

I’M OUTRAGED! WE ALL SHOULD BE OUTRAGED! RECALL ABORTION now!

Pregnancy Care Centers Win Out

Monday, January 7th, 2013

PCC Mobile Unit

2013 will be a good year for women and babies. Pregnancy Care Centers are advancing in services and technoligy.

In a recent New York Times article it was reported that “With free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, along with diapers, parenting classes and even temporary housing, pregnancy centers are playing an increasingly influential role in the anti-abortion movement. While most attention has focused on scores of new state laws restricting abortion, the centers have been growing in numbers and gaining state financing and support.”

The article also states that “As they [pregnancy care centers]expand, they are adding on-call or on-site medical personnel and employing sophisticated strategies to attract women, including Internet search optimization and mobile units near Planned Parenthood clinics.”

Racism, Slavery, Sexual Immorality and Abortion

Luke 4:18-19
The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Dr. Karen StevensonOur good friend Dr. Karen Stevenson, MD, a pro-life advocate, has written an insightful paper that confirms new views on the connection between racism, slavery, and abortion.

While studying the connection between abortion and slavery, one might wish to consider the research respectfully submitted by those who are determined to get to the bottom of the controversies and shed some light on the issue.

1. Excerpt from Utrum by Dr. Karen Stevenson

“As Kathleen Neal Cleaver states in her review of Dorothy Roberts’ book, Killing the Black Body: Race, Reproduction, and the meaning of Liberty, “Roberts learned the significance of reproductive autonomy not from the contemporary abortion movement but from studying the histories of slave women who fought to gain control over their lives.”[1] Any treatise that discusses black women and their reproductive freedoms must take into account the impact of these freedoms on the black community as a whole. Thus, any issue germane to African-American women is also crucial to the welfare of the African-American family and by extension, the African-American community.

Abortion benefits African-American women because it allows them to exercise control over their reproductive destinies.

Slave women in America did not have the right to self-determination, and they had no autonomy over their bodies in any way. The profit driven slave economy benefitted tremendously from their toil and their procreative abilities. The slave woman’s children were not her own, and by the whim of her master, they could be sold away from her, never to be seen again. In post Civil War America, there was no further need for black women to procreate. In fact, her ability to procreate no longer served the greater good.”

2. Excerpt from 2013 Message by Dr. Alveda King

“One can’t help but consider if disregard for the value of women and children is still at the root of abortion today. Consider this, many if not all of the women abolitionists should have been the forerunners of the Pro-Life Movement. Instead, we have a counterfeit “Women’s Rights Movement” which supports abortion and harmful contraceptive drugs today. Why in the world, how in the world could this be?

Remember, both women and men were allowed to be involved with the Anti-Slavery act. But, women could only go so far because they couldn’t vote, and many could not own property. Non-African Women and all slaves were actually considered to be chattel or property back then. So, it was hard for white and black women to be involved as abolitionists because white women were treated in very similar manner to African Americans, and most Black women were slaves. Unfortunately, the same thing was happening to the Native American Population. They were all considered to be chattels.

So the frustrated slave women often aborted their babies (Pure Breed and Mulatto) voluntarily as an act against sustaining future oppression. The Angry Caucasian Wives often coerced or forced abortion on their husband’s “Black Beauties” as a means of retaliation against their own brand of experienced oppression.

If you think about it, the same issues are at the heart of the Middle East Conflict. Sarah’s and Hagar’s sons are brothers with Abraham’s seed, yet their bitter battle still rages. My, what a bitter root of judgment in all these situations!

While many women who were abolitionists ended up becoming women rights activists, bitterness caused them to adopt a contraceptives agenda and finally an abortion agenda to exercise what they considered to be rights over their wombs. So now we have a war on babies and the wombs often led by women and men controlled by a desire for revenge and avarice.”

3. Excerpt from Slavery _____ Jealousy of the Slave Mistresses

“It is a fact generally observed in slave societies that the mistress is more cruel in her treatment of slaves than the master. It is a fact confirmed by our chronicles, our folklore, our oral tradition, and travelers. There are on record not two or three, but scores of cases of the cruelty of the senhoras de engenho toward defenseless slaves.”
