In fact, I have 2 Chronicles 7:14 on my business cards, as I definitely understand what we as a nation need to do.

I’m very involved in the tea party movement, today’s great awakening, and I’m trying my best to navigate the spiritual warfare that’s happening in this country. I pray for discernment and the full armor of God (Eph 6) as the political world is an ugly place.

But at the end of the day, I only want to do the right thing. I’ve completely given myself to God, trusting Him as I walk with Faith and as He is the lamplight at my feet.

You believe in God, right? Yes. You believe He’s all powerful, all-knowing, and in control, right? Yes. You believe this has already been written, right? Yes. So why are we getting so hung up on trying to do this ourselves? Why are we stressing over the little things? God has a plan, He’s in control, and He wants us to seek His face and to be used by Him for fulfillment of His will–and all we have to do is the next right thing.
