Studends for Life Undercover!

Friday, August 24th, 2012

Students for Life went undercover while Black prolife leaders led by Pastor John Peyton of Reconciliation Church prayed.

Pastor John Peyton together with myself organized a group of black pro-life activists and and attended the ‘We Are Women’ rally in Washington, DC this last Saturday, August 18. Armed with signs and t-shirts depicting Tonya Reaves, the young lady who dies after having an abortion at a Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Chicago, and the abortionist who called the black babies that he murders as, those “ungly black babies.” They dialogued with raly attendees, were called names like the “N” word, and were even asked to leave. But they prayed, informed and were tough life warriors. See pictures at Priests for Life’s Frontlines.

Students for Life of America’s very own Sarah Maher & Beth O’Malley visited the We Are Women Rally in Washington, DC on Saturday, August 18th and handed out postcards exposing Planned Parenthood. To read what they had to say about the event, click HERE

STATEN ISLAND, NY – Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, issued the following statement regarding Tuesday’s House vote on the D.C. Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, H.R. 3803, which called for a ban on abortions after 20 weeks in the District of Columbia.

“As he led the debate against the D.C. Pain Capable Unborn Child Act last evening, Rep. John Conyers warned his pro-abortion colleagues that Planned Parenthood and NARAL would be scoring the vote.

“The act did not garner the necessary two-thirds vote to pass, but I would like to issue a warning of my own to those who opposed the bill: The American people will be keeping score as well, and they will remember in the voting booth the politicians who are so afraid of the powerful abortion lobby that they voted down an effort to save fully formed babies from the unimaginable pain of being torn limb from limb.

“An overwhelming majority of Americans are against late-term abortion and they will demand that their lawmakers have the integrity to represent them, rather than bowing to Planned Parenthood and NARAL.”

Fr. Pavone Asks Abortion Advocates To Join Him In Decrying Attack Against Colorado Pro-Lifers

Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, denounced today the acts of violence committed against pro-life activists Keith and Jennifer Mason and Everett Stadig.

Fr. Pavone has also called upon organizations and leaders that support legal abortion to denounce this violence, which followed a Newsweek profile on the Masons and their Personhood USA movement.

“Where are the voices of Planned Parenthood, NARAL Pro-Choice America, and other abortion advocacy groups when violence is perpetrated on pro-life people? These groups are heard loud and clear when violence is done to supporters of their philosophy. It would be nice to see some consistency here,” Fr. Pavone stated.

Early on Wednesday, June 27, someone threw a 45-pound boulder through the front door of the Mason’s suburban Denver home, the couple lives with their three young children. Mrs. Mason is nine months pregnant with their fourth child. For security reasons, the Masons have had to leave their home.

On Saturday, June 30, Stadig, a Personhood volunteer, was attacked while gathering signatures on a petition outside a grocery store in another Denver suburb. The 69-year-old was knocked to the ground and later had to have hip replacement surgery.

Whether or not the two attacks were related, Mason said that “spiritually, they’re connected. We have no doubt of that. Some of the more fringe activists in the pro-abortion movement will act. I think they feel threatened by what we’re doing.”

In May, a pro-abortion extremist pleaded guilty to threatening the life of Father Pavone and Princeton University scholar Robert George. Theodore Schulman faces up to four years in prison at his sentencing in September.
