“Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer…” Proverbs 30:25
People often ask me what I do when I’m not out speaking, or teaching, or preaching, or prolife crusading… Well, today, I considered the ant. And the beetle. And the roses. And my mama. Also, I do washing, cooking, cleaning, and just plain ordinary tasks. I also work on improving relationships with those around me. Just thought you’d like to see some (EXTRA)ordinary pictures of God’s handiwork. And get a peek at my ordinary life. Much love from 1 Corinthians 13.
“The warning against the wastefulness of the prodigal is followed by a warning as emphatic against the wastefulness of sloth. The point of comparison with the ant is not so much the foresight of the insect as its unwearied activity during the appointed season, rebuking man’s inaction at a special crisis Proverbs 6:4. In Proverbs 30:25, the storing, provident habit of the ant is noticed.” Barnes Commentary on the Bible
Speaking of having foresight during prayerfully unwearied activity in the prolife struggle, let us not be slothful in the things of God; Faith, Hope and Love!
Have a blessed week!!!
