With the anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday on January 15th and the anniversary of the infamous Roe v. Wade Supreme Court ruling on January 22nd which legalized abortion on demand in America, there will be much talk as to whether my uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., was Pro-Life or Pro-Choice.
I contend that he was both. He believed in the right for every person to make good choices, as do I. As a follower of Jesus Christ, he would never have put abortion on the table as one of the choices a woman could make as it went against everything he believed. My uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., said, “The Negro cannot win if he is willing to sacrifice the futures of his children for immediate comfort and safety.” He certainly would not be for the killing of the unborn.
Planned Parenthood would like you to think that, because they gave him the PPFA Margaret Sanger Award (that was accepted by his wife, Coretta), he would support abortion on demand. Nothing could be further from the truth.
As I have explained in Part 1 and Part 2 of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, in her effort to exterminate the blacks, devised a plan to use Black leaders, among them, my uncle, to dupe America and especially the Black Community into going along with her plans of eugenics, all under the disguise of “freedom of choice.” Since the beginning, lies have been a way of doing business for Planned Parenthood. My uncle was lied to about the true agenda behind Planned Parenthood and the lies about the personhood of the baby in the womb continue today.
My uncle also said, “A lie cannot live.” He was correct and the lies Planned Parenthood has been telling are being exposed. This is the year that Pro-Lifers will make great strides in bringing an end to abortion. God’s mighty hand is guiding our steps towards victory over death and over abortion. We must do our part and “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) as the Bible says.
