Staten Island, NY – Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, issued the following statement today in support of Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s signing of a bill to prohibit almost all abortions after five months of pregnancy, regulate abortion clinics as ambulatory surgical centers, and require abortionists to have local hospital admitting privileges.

“Governor Rick Perry and the Texas legislature have done what they were elected to do, that is, safeguard the well-being of Texans. The new law Governor Perry signs today will advance the protection of women from the unscrupulous practices of abortionists, and the protection of children from the deadly weapons of those same abortionists. Those who were so vociferous in their opposition to this law are on the wrong side of morality and of history.”

“We at Priests for Life will continue to expose the horrors committed by Texas abortionists like Douglas Karpen. This law will make that task much easier.”

Priests for Life is the nation’s largest Catholic pro-life organization dedicated to ending abortion and euthanasia. For more information, visit www.priestsforlife.org.

While Republicans prohibit late term abortions, they refuse to support babies after their birth, cut food stamps that feed poor people, refuse medicare expansion, they are not pro life they are pro birth. HIPPOCRATES!!!

Priests for Life is a pro-life group and we care about ALL life at ALL stages of life. Maybe checking out our website at priestsforlife.org might help you know a little more about our work. Our main focus is the unborn and euthanasia. I believe the latter are already born.

Here area a couple of links to some work PFL has done for lives that were born.

True hypocrisy is people saying they are pro-choice while always fighting to limit choices for women.
