Dr. King, we are in agreement on the need to tell the world what we are for. I have written in the past about the successes of adult stem cell research, and the generosity we show toward people at all stages of development. That hasn't prevented the press or the liberal establishment from continuing to tell the same old lies about us. This is why I choose not only to affirm the good, but to confront sin and call it by its name.

I believe that we as Christians have an obligation, as your uncle so eloquently put it, to be a thermostat rather than a thermometer when it comes to matters of conscience. If we are not the moral conscience of the society, then who will be?

Thank you for everything you do for the pro-life movement and for the cause of Christ. I greatly admire you!
