In recent news, Indiana’s Gov. Mitch Daniels signed into law legislation that will defund Planned Parenthood in his state. While some accuse Gov. Daniels of cutting job opportunities along with funding to the nation’s largest abortion provider, the critics should consider this. By redirecting the funds to other health services providers who do not perform or refer clients to abortion facilities, Gov. Daniels is expanding opportunities for life and making more funds and services available.
On the flip side of this type of progress, Iowa’s Des Moines Register’s editorial board is trying to push the old rhetoric that abortionists like LeRoy Carhart should be funded so that his abortion mills can bring more jobs to the state.
Gov. Sam Brownback of Kansas and Gov. Daniels share the same outlook. Cut PPH funding, divert the funds to life giving projects and programs and babies will live, mothers won’t suffer the trauma of abortion, fathers and families won’t have to shoulder the burden of all the problems abortion brings, and jobs can be created in the streams opened up by diverting death money to life money.
