Threats or encouragement?

While pro-abortion strategy will include threats, we as affirmers of the sanctity and quality of life must contact our members of Congress with encouragement for those who are already strong for life to remain steady, and invite their reluctant colleges to join them. We must assure all members of Congress that we are looking for leaders who support life, and will do everything we can to support them. We must encourage prolife candidates to run for office as well.
Kate Michelman and Frances Kissling have written a NY Times op-ed today threatening Democrat Congressmen with electoral challenges from the left if they don’t commit themselves to defeating the Stupak/Pitts amendment.

    Dearest Dr. King,

I saw your interview on Huckabee last night and knew you were trying to get a message out that wasn’t necessarily going to fit into the general topic being discussed. When you mentioned Maafa21 I was determined to remember it so that I could find out just what your message was. I just finished watching the video. I am numb. I was aware that black babies were aborted much more often than whites, and that Sanger was a racist, but the information contained in this video has left me weak-kneed and nauseous. In my growingly cynical mind, I couldn’t help but wonder why this hasn’t been taught in Black History Month.

I do not have a lot of money, but I would like to help, because now, more than ever, I feel the pressing importance of not allowing federal funds to be available for abortion. Now, more than ever, I feel the need to educate the public concerning the truth about abortion. Now, more than ever, my heart is convicted of the evil that is happening right under our noses.

Do you have any links or sources where one can volunteer? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

God bless you and your courageous work Dr. King!

    Sandy Edinger
