One has to wonder, “What is going on? It doesn’t make any sense. Common sense would dictate much different actions. The actions being taken are contrary to those that any normal human being would take. There must be a reason they are acting the way they are.
What am I talking about? I’m talking about the actions that prosecutors take, that legislators take, that the people we put into office to represent us take.
Just recently, in Miami, FL, prosecutors dropped two felonies against an unlicensed abortion clinic worker, Belkis Gonzalez after doctors who were going to testify against her changed their opinions. This case stemmed from an investigation in 2006 where a baby was born alive during an abortion procedure because the abortionist failed to show up to complete the abortion. Baby Shanice Denise Osbourne was born moving and gasping for air at 22 weeks and Gonzalez put her in a biohazard bag and threw her body on the roof of the clinic to hide her from authorities. Prosecutors dragged their feet for three years before bringing charges and then only due to public pressure. Then they stalled even further knowing that the longer they delayed, the better the chances were that those involved in the case would change their testimony or just drop away, which is what happened in this case.
Then you have the public officials in Philadelphia, PA who perform inspections on Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s clinic, saw the atrocities going on at this “house of horrors” and did nothing about it. Dr. Kermit Gosnell was delivering babies alive and then jamming scissors in the back of their necks and cutting their spinal cords. He even cut off the feet of aborted babies and put them in small containers and put them on display on shelves like trophies.
Then there was the case in Atlanta, GA where a woman died during a botched abortion procedure. A complaint was filed and the officials called the clinic to inform them that they were going to go there for an inspection. This gave the clinic time to make sure that equipment was working properly, medical instruments were properly cleaned and the office was in order, none of which was their normal operating procedures.
Then you have Mayor Bloomberg in New York that just signed into law a bill to put mandates on pregnancy resource centers to post specific disclosures at their clinics, in their literature and in their advertising. (No such disclosures are imposed on abortion providers). Mayor Bloomberg sign the bill into law despite that fact that he himself admitted the law may be unconstitutional and there have been two recent federal rulings that called its constitutionality into question.
In these cases and many more all across this country, abortion facilities and workers are breaking laws. The abortion industry is so unregulated that there are rarely any consequences when infractions are discovered.
We as humans have an innate desire to protect human life. We have laws that prohibiting murder. Yet when it comes to abortion it seems that, not only are those appointed or elected to protect life not protecting the defenseless babies in the womb, they are going out of their way to protect those that would kill them all under the guise of choice.
It doesn’t make sense unless there is something to be gained by their actions. The abortion industry is very lucrative for the abortionist. Could it be that these abortionists are just very generous people and the decisions being made are just an extension of their generosity? I wonder what the going price is for a vote is this days?
