Tell your senators to support the
Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act!

February 4, 2019

Dear Friends,

I need you to place two phone calls today, one to each of your US Senators. They are being asked to vote on a bill

To protect babies born alive after a failed abortion!

Last week, Sen, Ben Sasse, a Republican from Nebraska, took to the Senate Floor to call for passage of the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Act, S. 130. If enacted, the bill would extend federal legal protection to babies who are born alive during an abortion.

Don’t believe abortion advocates who say this never happens. It does, and more often than we think.

The Senate has the votes to pass the bill. But just as important, we want to get the abortion-loving Democrats on the record opposing life-saving care for the most vulnerable newborns. Even they can’t pretend this bill deals with “fetuses.”

This bill is more important than ever, in light of a new state law in New York that allows abortionists to let these born-alive children die if they survive abortion. Other states are looking to enact laws like this, and everyone heard the governor of Virginia describe how it would be up to the mother whether a child who survives abortion should live or die.

That’s not abortion; that’s infanticide.

Today, Sen. Sasse is going to try to expedite this bill through the Senate. Please contact your senators, today if possible, to make sure they will support the bill or be prepared to explain why they didn’t.

The extremism of the Democrats is finally being exposed. This is an important moment in our nation.

The only way to oppose a bill like this is to be devoid of a conscience altogether.

Please forward this to anyone on your e-mail list who may be interested -- and encourage them to do the same!

Thank you!
