PROTECT YOUR LOVED ONES
-- AND YOURSELF--
FROM THE DEADLY EFFECTS OF OBAMACARE!
We hear a lot about Obamacare, and much of it is confusing.
But if you look at two high profile cases in recent years, you see what can happen to you and your loved ones.
I'm speaking about Terri Schiavo, who was dehydrated to death, and Baby Joseph, who had to be rescued from a "health care" system that wouldn't give him a standard tracheotomy.
Priests for Life and I were asked by both families -- Terri's and Baby Joseph's -- to intervene, and we helped as best we could. Many of you rallied to their assistance along with us.
And I was with both families just the other night, to honor them and spread awareness of their efforts to help other families facing similar problems.
And because "charity starts at home," we, like them, must engage this battle in our own lives and families.
Make no mistake. Aside from all the confusing aspects of law, Obamacare is rooted in a philosophy that is opposed to the faith.
We believe every human person, no matter how weak or ill or dependent or wounded, deserves life and love!
But if Obamacare is allowed to continue to unfold and be applied in the coming years, we will see more and more basic treatment denied to the sick and elderly, including in our own families.
So protect them -- and yourself -- starting now, by filling out a simple form!
I'm talking about the "Will to Live," a document prepared by medical and legal experts at National Right to Life and distributed by Priests for Life. There is a version of the document for each of the 50 states, prepared in full accordance with state law.
The point is simple: your will to live, and that of your loved ones, is expressed in the document. The signer makes it clear that he/she wants to receive proper treatment, in accordance with his/her moral and religious beliefs.
In other words, we don't try to predict the future. In fact, the document allows you to appoint someone you know and trust to be able to speak for you, in case you cannot speak for yourself, and to make sure your wishes are carried out in consultation with your clergy and doctors.
The Will to Live costs nothing but can literally protect the life and health of you and your family. It is morally safer than so many of the "Living Will" documents that people have already signed, and it can replace them.
And it can help avoid confusion at those difficult times when serious illness comes, or death draws near, and we're not sure what to do for our loved ones.
So please click here for the information on how to obtain and use the Will to Live.
And then please forward this email to everyone else that you think should know about this. You could literally save their lives!
