Let's Continue our Prayer Campaign
To Build on Our Election Victory!

November 21, 2016

Dear Friends,

With countless other groups and colleagues across the nation, we continue to celebrate that fact that

We won the election!

Motivated by our love for the children in the womb, and the necessity of protecting them, we elected a President and a Congress, as well as numerous state legislatures and Governors, who are

willing to take concrete steps to advance the protection of our youngest children!

This was accomplished through both prayer and action.

And we need to continue both.

As for action, I have already sent out one action alert about the Select Panel on Infant Lives (you can see them all at www.StopAbortionNow.org) and will send another soon.

But the subject of today's email is the prayer.

We have launched an ongoing prayer campaign to build on our election victories.

We are starting with three special prayers.

One of them is for the newly-elected officials, one is for wisdom and discernment for the Transition Team, and one is for those who are being appointed to various positions in the Administration.

We will also have Spanish translations posted soon.

Obviously, our newly-elected officials need prayer. We have placed a great responsibility on their shoulders by electing them. Now we need to stand with those we elected, both in prayer and action. They will endure much criticism. For instance, we saw over the weekend that

Vice-President-elect Mike Pence and his family were subjected to a political lecture at the conclusion of a Broadway Play.

The cast of "Hamilton" showed a complete lack of class at the end of the performance by singling out Mr. Pence and trying to lecture him on how to govern. This has led to an online movement of protest -- initiated by our own Executive Director, Janet Morana.

So we need to pray for our elected officials and their families.

We also need to pray that the transition team, who are currently vetting men and women to fill thousands of positions in the federal administration, starting with the President's Cabinet. The President-elect and his team need wisdom and guidance in making these choices, which have a profound impact on our nation. After all, "Personnel is policy."

And finally, we have to pray for those who are chosen for these appointments, that the Lord will give them grace to carry out their duties, and that he will sustain them amidst the attacks of the enemy.

Again, in recent days we saw that

No sooner was Senator Jeff Sessions announced as Attorney General than the liberal media began slandering him in every way they could.

I have known Senator Sessions for years and can hardly imagine a better choice for Attorney General. Yet unfair attacks apparently come with the job description, no matter how good the choice.

So just as we prayed throughout the election for victory, now let's pray for the implementation of that victory.

Click here to find you how you can join the prayer campaign and also defend our elected and appointed officials who are under attack.

And please pass this alert along to everyone you can, so that they can do the same!
