Do Our Laws Allow us to Degrade Human Life?

A report came into a Milwaukee police station one day that children were throwing stones off a bridge. When the police arrived on the scene, they asked the children what they were throwing. And the children answered, “Little people.” The police then saw the small containers of tiny babies that had been aborted in a nearby abortion clinic and left in the garbage bin, where they were found by these children.

When our laws so degrade human life that they allow it to be chopped up and discarded, we should not be surprised that it then becomes a plaything.

It’s time to ask what kind of impact the legalization of abortion has on the children who survive it, and who see little lives, not that much younger than their own, as mere objects of play.
