FR. PAVONE LAUDS TEXAS GOV. PERRY’S SIGNING OF PRO-LIFE LAW

Staten Island, NY – Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, issued the following statement today in support of Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s signing of a bill to prohibit almost all abortions after five months of pregnancy, regulate abortion clinics as ambulatory surgical centers, and require abortionists to have local hospital admitting privileges.

“Governor Rick Perry and the Texas legislature have done what they were elected to do, that is, safeguard the well-being of Texans. The new law Governor Perry signs today will advance the protection of women from the unscrupulous practices of abortionists, and the protection of children from the deadly weapons of those same abortionists. Those who were so vociferous in their opposition to this law are on the wrong side of morality and of history.”

“We at Priests for Life will continue to expose the horrors committed by Texas abortionists like Douglas Karpen. This law will make that task much easier.”

Priests for Life is the nation’s largest Catholic pro-life organization dedicated to ending abortion and euthanasia. For more information, visit www.priestsforlife.org.

    Dear Fr. Pavone,
I too have been following closely what’s been going on in our country and have kept abreast with the actions Priests for Life have been taking. I am sending this e-mail in hopes that you will respond. Many, many of your catholic brothers and sisters want desperately to help and to be part of ending this horrific murdering of babies and the abuse of Religious Freedom, especially in our Catholic faith. So many people are ready and waiting to stand up and fight the good fight against the evil that has been going on with the present administration but need your help to know where to start. There can be no more sitting on the sidelines waiting for others to act, we all have to collectively start shouting from the rooftops that we will not take this any longer, for the spiritual battle is on! If that means we get sent to prison for doing our Blessed Lord’s work then so be it!
Please Father, guide us a to what we can do and how to get started.

Peace and Love in Jesus and Mary,
    Sister Diane Joan Nordyk
