Garden of Eden

“You will be like gods,” the serpent said to our first parents in the Garden of Eden. This original temptation was a promise that what was right and what was wrong would be up to us; that we could write our own moral law. That’s what the “tree of the knowledge of good and evil” meant, and why Adam and Eve couldn’t eat from it.

We are all called to know good from evil, but not to decide it. To think we decide it is the error of the “pro-choice” mindset. “It’s all up to me and my choice, even if it means killing a baby.” This way of thinking, of course, leads to total chaos. On what basis do we tell people not to kill each other or steal from each other unless there are standards of right and wrong that apply to everyone no matter what they believe?

God’s love, power, strength, and abiding care are anchors to our hearts and souls in times of great distress. If we are intimately involved with Him then when the storms of life hit and the winds of adversity blow hard against us, we can quickly discern how to stand firm in our faith. We are to die to ourselves, let go and let God control our lives so we can obediently reap the rewards He gives to us. If we are disobedient we will be Chastened by a loving Father and Holy God who seeks our love for Him, to put Him entirely first in our lives. Those who listen to Him, His words are so blessed! Those who listen to themselves, and not wait on God, are weak in faith and Spirit and foolishly push away any blessings they could have received from their loving Father.
God is not an insurance policy you can just run to only in times of need, then cast Him away when things start to go your way!  Indeed you will stay on the same merry-go-round and continue to repeat all the same mistakes day in, day out until you finally surrender your life to a Supernatural God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit who has your best interest at heart! How can you ever go wrong with that? He above all else knows our beginnings and our endings!  Praise Jesus! Thank You for choosing me and for my salvation! Thank You Jesus for loving us so much you willingly died so we could have eternal life! Praise You Jesus for being the ONLY Mediator between the Father God and me! You deserve all love and Glory from all the earth! Abba my Father! My LORD, My Redeemer! I Love You with all my heart, mind, body and soul! Bless You Father!

    John 14:6 (NASB)
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
