North Carolina Legislature Overrides Governor, Saves Lives

Staten Island, NY – Fr. Frank Pavone today said that the North Carolina legislature’s override of Governor Beverly Perdue’s veto of the Women’s Right to Know Act will save babies from being aborted.

“On the same day that the North Carolina Senate voted to provide women with valuable information about abortion before they undergo the procedure, the state of Minnesota released statistics showing that its own informed consent law has saved lives,” stated Fr. Pavone. “North Carolinians should rejoice that their legislators have voted to increase the chances that mothers will choose life for their babies.”
