A bill was recently introduced in South Dakota that would require an abortionist to be available on the day before the procedure to speak with the mother who is scheduled to have her child aborted. This bill was not approved, but the need for it is great, because although the rhetoric of the abortion industry is that abortion is a decision between a woman and her physician, the fact is that her physician is practically never involved! The abortion and the woman are strangers! Moreover, they usually don’t even talk to one another at any time before or after the procedure. Roe vs. Wade said abortion is inherently a medical decision. In practice, it has become completely subject to the choice of the mother, without regard for any medical considerations at all.
