Our Lord tells us that if we are bringing our gift to the altar and recall that our brother has something against us, we should first be reconciled with our brother, and then come and offer our gift. If, then, we bear hatred in our hearts for any person, we must first rid our hearts of that hatred before we can receive Communion. This also means that if we consider it all right to kill our unborn brothers and sisters by abortion, we are not reconciled with them. We need to reconcile first, to have the right attitude toward our smallest brothers and sisters, and welcome them in our hearts before we welcome their Lord. All who receive Communion must be reconciled first with the unborn, recognizing them as brothers and sisters and defending their rights.
