The Song Unborn Child

It’s always good when we can see pro-life convictions expressed in the entertainment industry. One example stretches way back to the year after Roe vs. Wade. In 1974, Seals and Crofts produced a song called Unborn Child. The lyrics read in part: “Oh unborn child, if you only knew just what your mama is planning to do. You still are clinging to the tree of life, but soon you’ll be cut off before you get ripe. Momma, stop, turn around – go back!” Let’s pray that more songs will reflect the pro-life message.
