Today’s Pro-Life Reflection

This reflection is taken from my book Pro-Life Reflections for Every Day, which is available for purchase at:

“For You created all things; by Your will they were created” (Revelation 4:11).

Reflection: Cloning advocates make a misleading distinction between “reproductive” cloning — that is, actually bringing clones to birth — and “therapeutic cloning” — that is, using the clone’s cells, but killing the clone before he or she is born. In reality, all cloning is reproductive, because the unborn clone is human, and no cloning is therapeutic, because no medical benefit has been demonstrated.

Prayer: Father, you alone can create human life, and you have created it for yourself. Preserve us from the temptation of trying to do what you alone can do. Amen.

    hi Father,

there’s a comment on the link below to an NCR article that makes it sound as if you have been banished to outer darkness … I’m based in Ireland & not sure what the story is, but hope all is well with you where ever you are & whatever is going on.

    In Christ,

Actually when someone doesn’t know afterward its up to other people that they will help, so here it takes place.

Reflection: Today we celebrate the Birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary, chosen by God to be his own mother. In our day, we need Mary’s presence and example more than ever, because so many mothers are afraid to be mothers, and so many opinion-makers in our society have forgotten what motherhood really means.
