Ecumenical support for the family
Prescott - Fr. Peter West of Priests for Life was in Prescott for the First
Annual Northern Arizona Congress in Support of Families, an ecumenical
conference organized by a grassroots group to support, encourage and protect the
family.
Fr. West's talk on Sept. 9 at the Yavapai College Center for the Performing
Arts was on the "Sanctity of Human Life." He also spoke at all the Sept. 10
Masses at Sacred Heart Church.
Fr. Fred LeClaire, CMF, Sacred Heart's pastor, endorsed the conference, which
was sponsored in part by Respect Life of Sacred Heart. The group later honored
Fr. West at a brunch.
