Tarrytown, N.Y., will be the location for the Cardinal Mindszenty
Foundation's 12th annual conference at the Hilton Inn on Saturday, Oct. 1st. The
opening is at 9:00 a.m., the luncheon at 12:15, and the conclusion at 4:15 p.m.
With religion and families under constant attack, the prominent speakers on the
program will highlight not only the problems, but will instruct and give
guidance for moral, spiritual, and practical solutions.
His Eminence, Ignatius Cardinal Kung, bishop of Shanghai, will offer the Holy
Sacrifice of the Mass for the attendees at 11: 15 a.m. Cardinal Kung survived 30
years of Communist imprisonment in his native China and now resides in Stamford,
Conn.
The featured speakers are the following:
Fr. George Rutler -- A prominent author and lecturer, with a weekly program
on EWTN, he will speak on "The Catechism is A Gift from God."
Mary Cummins -- She will expose the evils in the New York school system and
the impact nationwide with her talk on "'Rainbow' Recruitment in the Schools."
Dr. Timothy O'Donnell -- A college president, educator, author, editor, and
media consultant, Dr. O'Donnell will speak on "The Catholic Family in the Modern
World."
Fr. Frank Pavone -- The head of the new, rapidly expanding organization
Priests for Life, Father will discuss "Abortion, Justice, and Worship."
Eleanor Schlafly, president of the Cardinal Mindszenty Foundation based in
St. Louis, Mo., stated, "I encourage concerned Catholics and people of all

The conference is open to the public and fees are $36.00 for the full day
with luncheon; $16.00 for the sessions only $21.00 for luncheon only. Clergy,
religious, and students may attend free.
