This month's award for best headline on a press release goes to Priests for Life, an official association in the Catholic Church that has been working to override President Clinton's veto of the late-term abortion bill. The House voted to override the veto, but the Senate did not.

So the Sept. 25 release reads: "Catholic Priests Issue Warning: Hell to Pay If Senate Fails to Override Veto."

They're not speaking metaphorically.
