Father Frank Pavone, director of the pro-life
organization Priests For Life, will visit Hawaii Jan. 9-17 for a series of talks
at selected island parishes.
Priests for Life is a national organization of priests who support pro-life
issues and fight abortion.
Father Pavone preaches and teaches against abortion around the country. He
has produced television and radio programs about abortion and has written
numerous pro-life brochures.
He is often quoted in national and international media and recently spoke to
the prolife caucus of the U.S. House of Representatives. He was also asked by
Mother Teresa to speak in India.
Father Pavone recently concelebrated Mass with Pope John Paul II in the
pope's private chapel and received warm encouragement and blessings for his
pro-life work.
"God bless you and your apostolate for life," the Holy Father said.
Father Pavone also spoke with Vatican officials at various curial offices on
the family, laity, clergy, bishops, and at the Sacred Congregation for the
Doctrine of the Faith.

said Father Pavone, "It is amazing how closely they are following the work of
Priests For Life and how pleased they are with our success."
