Anti-abort to young people in Black Eagle
The Rev. Frank Pavone, who has been active in the
anti-abortion movement since 1976, will preach at the on Sunday in the 9 a.m.
Mass in Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Black Eagle.
After the Mass, Pavone will speak to young people.
In 1993, Pavone became national director of Priests for Life and now serves
full time in this position, traveling through the country preaching and teaching
against abortion and helping other priests do the same. He conducts seminars on
anti-abortion strategy.
Pavone was asked by Mother Teresa to address the clergy of India on life
issues and in 1996 addressed the pro-life caucus of the U.S. House of
Representatives. He has been asked by the Vatican to help coordinate pro-life
activities throughout the world as an official of the Pontifical Council for the
Family.
