Times Review
Diocese of LaCrosse
Kudos on the paper

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the job you're doing as the new
editor of our diocesan newspaper. God works in marvelous ways. I was going
to write a personal letter to the editor about six months ago (not for
publication) just to express some opinions I had about the Times Review. I
chickened out and prayed instead.
I also subscribe to the Wanderer and the National Catholic Register because I
found the Times Review lacking in some of the areas those two papers covered.
I'm a busy mom and grandma who also works part-time, and I really don't have
time to do all that reading, just bits and pieces of my favorite sections. I'm
seriously considering canceling my subscription to the other two papers because
the Times Review is now filling my plate with a balanced meal. I don't have to
go searching for more in other publications.
You've added so much that we, as members of the worldwide Catholic Church
need to know; what our Holy Father is saying and doing: words of teaching and
wisdom from our very own Bishop Raymond Burke: what's going on in the Catholic
world: what's going on in the news from a Catholic perspective; what's going on
in the pro-life movement (I love articles from Father Frank Pavone, founder of
Priests for Life); articles on Catholic teaching and morals; and last but not
least, excellent editorials that strike a nerve, tickle the funny bone, and pack
a punch. It leaves me craving for more, more, more, and I know it's coming in my
diocesan paper next week. I can hardly wait to read each issue. You can be
assured of my prayers as you continue to do your fine work.
