Priests for Life Add Augustinian to Staff
Priests for Life, based on Staten Island, has added a fifth priest
to its full-time staff, Father Walter J. Quinn, O.S.A., who will be
stationed at Villanova University in Pennsylvania.
Father Quinn, an Augustinian priest for 38 years, most recently was spiritual
director of St. Augustinian Monastery in Nova Scotia.
He was ordained in 1961 and had two parish assignments in the in New York
Archdiocese, at St. Augustine Monastery in Nova Scotia.He was ordained in 1961

Tolentine in the Bronx, 1977-1978, and Our Lady of Good Counsel on Staten
Island, 1982 to 1985.
Father Quinn will travel to parishes and retreat centers around the country,
speaking about life issues and encouraging the formation of pro-life groups.
Priests for Life, with a mailing list of 45,000 priests and deacons, seeks to
educate clergy and lay persons about life issues and offers resources for
parishes. The international director is Father Frank A. Pavone, a New York
priest.
