Anti-abortion talk is set at church
Father Denis Wilde is a representative of Father Frank Pavone's New York
chapter of National Priests for Life.
Wilde will offer a special service Saturday from 9 am. to
noon at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 1908 Short St, Kenner.
Titled "55 Ways You Can Save Someone's Life Today," the anti-abortion program
will begin with a Mass. At 10 a.m., Wilde will speak on abortion, followed by a
question-and-answer session.
After a dedication of a monument to the unborn, there will be
a reception at noon.
During Wilde's stay in New Orleans, he will participate in a
panel discussion on the television show "Focus." The rosary will be said in
front of an abortion clinic Thursday morning, a meeting will be held with
seminary students at Loyola Thursday afternoon.
He also will speak at St. Augustine High and conduct a Mass and meeting and
St. Jeromes Church in Kenner with the Spanish community on Friday.
