Fr. Scott Daniels, OP met with good fortune on Friday, November 13, when he dined with the Respect Life Committees of St. Henry’s and St. Bernard’s Parishes in Watertown, WI. Both parishes are filled with men and women tremendously devoted to the cause for life.
The next morning, Fr. Daniels was driven to Madison by Mr. and Mrs. Julian Bargo for the 40 Days for Life wrap-up breakfast at St. Maria Goretti Parish, where over 100 celebrated another prayerful and meaningful 40 Days campaign. Following the breakfast, Fr. Daniels and the Bargos drove to the University of Wisconsin’s Meriter Hospital for a prayer vigil. He concluded the day preaching at the two late afternoon Masses and spoke briefly at the social held in St. Bernard’s parish hall.
On Sunday, Fr. Daniels spoke at the morning Masses, preaching on the Four Last Things. In his homily, he mentioned that it is dangerous to speak of love and mercy without truth and justice, as His Love and Mercy is One with His Truth and Justice.
