Dear Friends of Life, Welcome to another edition of Frontlines!

Fr. Denis Wilde, OSA in Hundington Valley PA - Preaching the Gospel of Life - May 2010

Fr. Denis Wilde motored to St. Albert the Great Parish in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, this mid-May for a Pro-Life Parish Weekend.  Even though Fr. Wilde had never been to the Parish before, it was like old home week as he knew most of the clergy including St. Albert’s Pastor, Msgr. Paul Dougherty.

Fr. Wilde concelebrated Saturday’s early evening Mass, celebrated Sunday’s 10:00 am Mass, and preached at all three Sunday Masses to warm and appreciative parishioners.  A real treat for Fr. Wilde was Sunday night’s piano recital before 200 members of the St. Albert community.  Weekend organizers John Dougherty and Gerald Dougherty graciously provided a concert grand piano that Fr. Wilde said was a “delight” to play.

Monday morning, Fr. Wilde was able to share the pro-life message with attentive 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students at the St. Albert’s school, concluding what he called “a beautiful weekend.”
