Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life stated today:

"Priests for Life is a national effort to assist the clergy to mobilize their people to oppose abortion. We call on all Americans to do so peacefully. Abortion destroys an innocent human life. It is never acceptable to destroy an innocent life for any purpose, including the purpose of ending abortion. We advocate only peaceful means to end this tragedy.

Those who say it is justified to kill abortion providers are actually pro-choice. The pro-choice movement has been telling us that sometimes it is justified to end a life to solve a problem. We disagree, whether the life that is ended is born or pre-born."
