The deaths of two prominent female activists made headlines died this week.

One, Nellie Gray, founded the March for Life and spent her life fighting for the rights of the unborn. The other is Helen Gurley Brown.

Brown, author of the book Sex and the Single Girl and editor of Cosmopolitan magazine, was on the forefront of the sexual revolution.

In a column in USA Today, Frank Pavone, national director for Priests for Life, wrote that these two women symbolize the opposite sides of the culture war -  so much so that those two sides could be called, "the brown" and "the gray."

Pavone spoke more about the women's respective legacies, on CBN News Channel's Morning News, Aug. 17. Click here to watch the interview
