Dear Missionary of the Gospel of Life,
Thanks to YOU, Tuesday’s M.E.V. teleconference was a great success!
If you were able to participate, thank you!
If you could not make it, you can listen to the entire call on the conference webcast page, http://www.instantTeleseminar.com/?eventid=3723141.
I want to thank Fr. Frank Pavone in a special way for his participation with us in this first ever National M.E.V. Life Cell Teleconference. I also want to thank Amy Seltzer, M.E.V. of New Mexico, and Paul Simoneau, M.E.V. of Tennessee, for their upbeat and encouraging comments about how the M.E.V. is positively affecting their lives and their ability to build the Culture of Life. I also thank the members of our Priests for Life Team, Ray Mooney, M.E.V., and Sue Turner, M.E.V., for their participation.
On the call, we basically conducted a Life Cell, focusing on our Spiritual Disciplines of prayer, study of Evangelium Vitae, community, and apostolic witness. We showed how to find all this information at the Priests for Life and the Missionaries of the Gospel of Life websites.
We talked about the Initial Registration for the Missionaries, then the process of going through Formation, printing out, completing, and mailing the Assessment Form (http://www.priestsforlife.org/missionary/lay-assessment-form.pdf), contacting your pastor and encouraging him to complete his Recommendation Form, and finally, preparing for your Promises.
We prayed for our spiritual solidarity to deepen and strengthen as we work to promote the Gospel -- and the Culture -- of Life in our parishes and communities.
We were not able to answer any questions Tuesday night on the call, but some of you will be contacted personally. I will begin providing the answers to many of these questions in my Letters, which can be found at http://www.priestsforlife.org/missionary/letters.htm .
