Dear Missionary of the Gospel of Life:

One of the unique and blessed aspects of the Missionaries of the Gospel of Life is the beauty and truth of our Pro-life Spirituality. We should all be practicing and deepening these components in our lives: the Four Spiritual Disciplines, the Six Overarching Spiritual Components, and the Seven Virtues www.priestsforlife.org/missionary/spiritual-disciplines.htm.

I am also finding that many other people, both lay and clergy, are very interested in hearing and receiving this Spirituality.

I want to encourage you to give our Pro-life Spirituality away to others. Whether in a one-to-one encounter, or to a variety of groups, let us not hesitate in speaking of the empowering benefit of knowing and practicing this Spirituality. In particular, I have found that when priests, pro-life committee members, those ministering in Pregnancy Resources Centers (PRCs/CPCs), Post Abortion Healing ministers, and 40 Days for Life participants hear the Spirituality shared by someone who practices it, they are hungry to incorporate it into their lives and ministries in some way. This sharing may also lead to the development of new small pro-life groups or to the strengthening of existing ones.

Speaking of strengthening individuals and pro-life groups, the MEV National Team continues to work with State Liaisons to help fortify our Missionaries individually in geographic areas. If you have not been contacted already, you will be hearing from both national (especially Sue Turner and me) and local trained MEV liaisons. If for some reason you do not want to be contacted by email or phone, please let me know. Otherwise, we will continue to assume you are open to building our relationship with you.

Sue and I are in the process of planning another MEV National Life Cell/Teleconference and have scheduled a tentative date of Thursday June 25th 9 pm Eastern. It is our hope and prayer that you will participate in this time of fellowship, prayer and instruction. Please mark your calendar now and be looking for confirmation and instructions about how to register for this blessed time of solidarity.

Please, let me know how the MEV national leadership and I may assist you. I am always eager to consider a visit and mission to your area to promote the Gospel of Life in numerous formats. I also ask that you review the links at the conclusion of each of my letters and take advantage of the offerings that are made. In particular, consider your participation in one of the Promise Ceremony gatherings and in local Life Cells, and do unite with other Missionaries in praying the Pro-Life Easter Prayer.

Remember now, our MEV Spirituality is not for us only; let us give it away for the building up of the People of Life the world over.
