Among the 4 Spiritual Disciplines of the
Missionaries is Apostolic Witness, the call
to bear witness to Jesus Christ and the Gospel of Life
in the midst of the culture of death.
Pro-life Freedom Rides Campaign, July 23-24 in
Birmingham and Atlanta, gives us an excellent
opportunity to unite in Apostolic Witness with all of
the Pastoral Associates of Priests for Life and

If there is
any way you can join us in Birmingham, Alabama to
“kickoff” this historic event, please do so. I know
that I speak for Fr. Frank, Dr. Alveda King and the
entire pastoral staff when I say, we would love to see
you and partner with you in this campaign for life.
The Friday evening Freedom Ride Assembly will

the sin of abortion, celebration of life, and the

a special message from Fr. Frank Pavone:
We have been very
blessed to have Sue Turner handling so much of the
important work of the MEVs, and I know so many of you
have received from her the help and encouragement that
enabled you to continue this process of formation and
make your promises. Actually, Sue has been helping
Priests for Life from long before the MEV program was
in place. She helped me first get onto EWTN in the
mid-90’s! So I’m very grateful for all she has done.
Recently we decided to centralize some of the
administrative work of MEV to our New York
headquarters to allow for tighter integration with the
rest of our staff and programs. Therefore our newest
full-time employee, Laura Peters, will be handling
from now on the work that Sue did. She just moved to
New York from Alabama and has been very active in
organizing and training students for the pro-life
cause. I ask you to welcome Laura with enthusiasm and
be in close contact with her. She will introduce
herself to you more fully in an upcoming
Thanks for all that you do.
Let’s continue to move forward with confidence!
