January 14, 2011 Dear Missionary of the Gospel of Life, Greetings in the Lord of Life! As you well know, we are now at a time of the year when extra attention is given to the abortion issue – and there are so many things we can be part of as Missionaries of the Gospel of Life! Let me bring your attention to just a few… I hope you plan to participate in pro-life events this month in commemoration of Roe vs. Wade either on a local or national level. I would be happy to see you at either the March for Life in Washington, DC or the Walk for Life in San Francisco and at any of the activities that will surround these two great events. An integral part of both events is the Silent No More Awareness Campaign gatherings that will take place, where post-abortive men and women give their testimonies. Please make plans to join us for these gatherings to hear their testimonies in person! In San Francisco, this happens right at the conclusion of the Walk. In DC, it happens at the steps of the Supreme Court as soon as the March reaches that point. I know many of you attended The National Memorial for the Pre-Born and their Mothers and Fathers last year and we hope you can make it again this year. On Monday, January 24 this premier pro-life service on Capitol Hill will take place from 8:00-10:15am. I will deliver the homily.
