Dear Lay Missionary of the Gospel of Life,

Blessings and peace upon you and yours!

The new MEV-Online Community (www.pfl-mev.org) is up and running. Meaningful and helpful conversations are taking place daily. Associates are meeting each other, building relationships, sharing questions and needs, and finding wonderful support. From the first day of our gathering associates have expressed words of appreciation and hope for our Online Community. Here are a few:

What a wonderful idea! I very much look forward to meeting other sisters and brothers as we work together to build a culture of life. (Tracy, AZ)

Looking forward to sharing with other defenders of Life! Greetings in the love of Christ from frigid northern NY state... (Chris, NY)

This is such a good idea. Looking forward to "getting" to know everyone. (Linda, GA)

I am very pleased to see this opportunity to meet and grow in MEV with all the brothers and sisters who share my passion for life issues. (Sunny, AZ)

As probably the newest addition to the group, I want to say "Job well done". We look forward to getting to know all of the wonderful folks that have made the commitment to Life in all of its stages. (Roy, FL.)

For the MEV-Community Site to grow in its success and purpose, certain things must take place:

1. Those that initially launched the site with their conversations and input should increase their participation.

2. Those that registered but have not engaged in conversation need to participate in our online community building.

3. We invite all Lay Associates who have not registered to do so today, www.pfl-mev.org/user/CreateUser.aspx.

Again, we are off to a wonderful start with the Community Site; let us increase our commitment to building relationships and equipping each other for the spreading of our mission -The Gospel of Life.

On another note, let us be faithful to our particular community prayer commitments:

-Special Prayer's and Novenas: www.PrayerCampaign.org

-Daily prayers of consecration and ending abortion: www.priestsforlife.org/prayers/praytoendabortion.htm and www.priestsforlife.org/prayers/consecration.htm

-Praying the Rosary and periodic times of fasting/abstinence: www.priestsforlife.org/missionary/april07letter.htm

-First Friday of the Month Pro-life Examination of Conscience: www.priestsforlife.org/brochures/examine.html

I look forward to hearing from you on the Community Site and deepening our united prayer efforts as we enter the Holy Season of Lent.

United with you in the Gospel of Life,

Jim Pinto, Jr. M.E.V.
