Dear Missionary of the Gospel
of Life-Lay Associate:
May the holy wind of the
Spirit renew and empower you as Pentecost draws near. May we, like the first
disciples, have a missionary zeal to carry the Gospel of life to
those near and far.
The ability to “run
with the Gospel of life” begins on our knees. The first Friday of the
month Pro-Life Examination of Conscience is a
wonderful devotion in preparation for
Pentecost Sunday. You may now order our new Missionary daily prayer card which has both the “Prayer
to End Abortion” and the “Prayer of Consecration.” I find that having the prayer card in my
daily companion, makes it easy for me to begin my day united with you in our
Missionary prayers.

often for information and updates. A new online registration form
now makes it easier for people to join
the Missionaries. Please review the new form and spread the word to those who
might be interested in the Society. Notice as well some pictures of Life
Cells and my biographical information
As
election season is upon us, it would be helpful to review the resources at
www.priestsforlife.org/elections.
These resources will assist us in fulfilling the aim of our Society: “The
members of this Society witness before the Church and the world to the priority
of the right to life as the foundation of all other rights, and to the absolute
claims to respect and protection that this right makes upon every
individual and community in the human family.”
The Life Cells are
beginning to take shape in various parts of the Country. Please review the Life
Cell Gathering formats and contact me
if you would consider being a facilitator or participant in your locality. The Life
Cell is important in communicating the aim and spirituality of the
Missionaries of the Gospel of Life.
I will be attending the
National Right to Life Convention, June 22-24, Nashville, Tennessee. Please let
me know if you, or someone you know who is interested in the Missionaries will
be attending. It would be nice for a group of us to have a combination lunch
and Life Cell time together.
