NINTH ANNUAL NATIONAL MEMORIAL FOR THE PREBORN TO BE HELD ON CAPITOL HILL JAN 22

Washington, DC—The Ninth Annual National Memorial for the Preborn and their Mothers and Fathers will be held Wednesday morning, January 22, 2003, 9:30 - 11:30 AM in the US Senate Dirksen Office Building, ground floor, room G-50 (Senate Auditorium), Constitution Ave. and 1st Street, NE, on Capitol Hill, Washington, DC. Admission is open to all without cost. Parking is available at nearby Union Station.

The Memorial is a solemn remembrance of all victims of abortion as well as a celebration of God’s gift of Life. Some 50 clergy representing Catholic, Evangelical, Orthodox and Protestant traditions will preside. Attendees participate in the liturgy. Women and men will tell their stories of suffering and recovery from abortion. Senators and members of congress are invited to address the group. Music will be provided by the Christ the Redeemer Worship Band and drama in dance will be performed by the Asaph Ensemble. This is the first year that the Memorial will be under the aegis of the National Pro-life Religious Council, one of America’s oldest interdenominational pro-life organizations.

The Memorial has been called one of the most beautiful and memorable indoor events conducted on Capitol Hill. For more information visit www.nprcouncil.org or call 703-257-5593, ext. 7.
