I was only seventeen and single. The man I was pregnant by was married at the time and I was not aware of that at the time we were seeing each other. I had no one who was willing to help me or think about the consequences of my abortion.

[My abortion was] unwanted and very traumatic. I wanted to have my baby I am very much aware now of what I did and the life I took.

I regret my decision. I have named my son - Michael Thomas - He would have [been] eighteen years old in April of 1990.

I received Jesus Christ as My Lord and Savior. This has helped me so very much to forgive myself.

I became a more human person and realized how valuable all life is - no matter - age, color or any other reason..
