I had no support system.

In July of 1974, I was 22 years old and single. I became pregnant by a man I had only casually dated. I had no support system.

Emotionally, [it was] very traumatic. Also, [I had] some physical problems.

I became very depressed and attempted suicide. Because of so much guilt, I got a tubal ligation.

I became a born-again, spirit filled Christian. God's word and his love have healed me.

It brought me to such a low spot in my life, that I had no one to turn to, but God. It brought me to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
