I pray my children will never do it…

I was a teenager (for the first abortion) - away from home and family - first real boyfriend. I attended a Catholic school -- should have known better. Became pregnant again this time by the man I eventually married and lived with, raising a family, - for 53 years. But had an abortion before I married him.

[It was] shameful - degrading - changed my personality.

Broke the first young man's heart - made me feel so guilty - disturbed - kept trying to make up for it!

I have devoted my life to trying to "make up" for these happenings. Each day - almost every minute of the day, I tell our dear Lord how sorry I am for have arranged to end the lives of these 2 pregnancies. I also have donated money to different organizations to try to help in education and direction.

It made my life into one of prayer - prayer for forgiveness -- prayer that me children and grandchildren will never do that!
