I Still Wonder…

I had just left my husband and filed for divorce. I already had a 2 year old son and a mountain of bills my husband ran up, which I had to pay. I just couldn't go through with the pregnancy.

It was like an assembly line, but the people were nice and understanding. It was a relatively quick procedure.

It was a great relief. I was under a lot of pressure and in a highly stressful line of work. At the time I had no alternative.

It didn't bother me until 5 years later. Then I talked it over with my priest. We prayed and asked God to forgive me. Yes it helped.

… However, I still wonder what effect the child would have had on mine and my son's life.
